Yes it is, and we’ve played some really nice football. Two great crosses for the goals

Will this count as Steve’s first win if we go onto win? No, that was at Notts County

We made a great start! Is it a fully academy line up this evening? Matt Kerbey in goal, all the rest of the squad are Scholars and Academy players

Some very encouraging individual performances within a good team performance. Deserved the win.

For those that collect statistics Horley advised us that the attendance was 183 and they were truly overwhelmed by the number of travelling fans that attended the fixture and asked to pass on their thanks to our supporters for those that attended the fixture

Unfortunately there will be no highlights for last nights game with Horley. Due to the game moving back a day we didn’t have anyone available to film.
Also, unrelated to last nights game but there will be no pitch side highlights of Saturdays game with Grimsby. This is also due to volunteer availability.
Thank you.

Can’t have them being too good too young else we won’t be able to get them signed on professional forms 😉

Fantastic result for the lads! Is it confirmed that we meet Casuals in the next round? The SSC section of the F.A. website now indicates that Corinthian Casuals received a walkover. It also suggests that our quarter-final fixture against them has been arranged for Tuesday 9/4, although I haven’t seen any confirmation of this on our main website.

Confirmed on the Surrey FA website. The other quarter-finals are Met Police v Badshot Lea Farnham Town v Croydon Athletic Chertsey v South Park.

Is it confirmed that we meet Casuals in the next round? There’s a thread on the Woking forum Cardsboard that mentions them being chucked out for fielding an ineligible player against Casuals - like we do, Woking seem to use the SSC nowadays as a competition to utilise the academy.
