Neither is the word "c u n t" which your reserve goalkeeper loves saying so much. And, doesn't your assistant manager like picking fights with people in the bar afterwards?! At least no Ks players have ever made such a ridiculous show of themselves, apart from one ex-Ks player, a Mr Steve McKimm..... oh, wait....
Your hypocrisy is almost funny. Almost.

It might help our view of Kingstonian fans if they spent a bit more time singing about Kingstonians rather than how much they dislke us.
I am all for a bit of banter and it goes a long way to making a game between two sets of decent fans more enjoyable. The Kingstonian songs appear to be 90% anti Sutton and 10% pro their own team which was a little sad and very boring in the end.
Good to see that our support concentrated pretty much on our own team right up to the end.

At Borehamwood you get a bunch of racist hooligan scum who punched one of our players on the pitch. At Canvey I was walking to the toilet on Saturday and a bunch of kids spat at me, when I was trying to ignore their abuse. So, in the grand scheme of things, I really don't think the word w4nker is what needs to be dealt with. Sour grapes me thinks.

Well, we certainly didn't deserve that! I definitely agree with os, I thought the first half was as well as we've played this season. We've played badly and won games so far, and this evening I don't think we were even guilty of not taking our chances in the first 45, K's defended well, sometimes desparately, and we had no luck. We ran out of steam in the last 20 minutes, and you could just see that winner coming. Onwards and upwards to Saturday, and if we can replicate that 1st half performance for the rest of the season we'll be champions!
I've got no issues with the K's fans, thought they were part of a good derby atmosphere. Bit of an issue with trying to get 750 fans through 2 turnstiles though, making sure a lot of us missed the first 5-10 minutes.

Should have had a certain penalty for handball in the second half That wasn't the one that the GK touched was it? I laughed when everyone shouted for it. I'm sorry our passionate support is not to your taste, but we get behind the lads any way we can If by getting behind the lads you mean shouting about how much you hate Sutton! --------- About time we lost. Last two matches we've been really sub-par, and this is the payback. Chins up though, onwards and upwards.

Just to let you know hoops, a few of your fans thought it hilarious to follow a few of us out of the ground and across the road deliberately singing very ant-sutton songs well after the game had ended.
Could have caused trouble as it was clearly a reaction that they were after but as you lot do no wrong, i must be mistaken.
No sour grapes here as I said in earlier post that we failed to win the game due to our own shortcomings in front of goal but please do not be so holier than thou about your fellow fans.
You were badly dealt with by the FA at Borehamwood and I posted on our own forum to say so.

No I think Mark is referring to the cross from the right wing which Max Hustwick leaned onto with his arm when he was unchallenged and knocked it out for a corner - the one when Tolfrey reached in front of Bird at the near post was a bit of a tongue in cheek shout I think

It was the Max Hustwick one i was on about and I was standing almost in front of him at the time. Nobody around me (including a couple of K's people) could believe it was not given.
The goalkeeper thing was never a penatly, obviously.

Actually Mark, you've just reminded me about the group of K's fans walking past AJ who was hobbling along on crutches before the game towards the entrance and talking about breaking his leg. Their sense of humour knows no bounds.....

Before Kingstonian scored, there was a cross from the right that the linesman and I were both in line with, different incident I think Beaney - Thompson (#4) misjudged it and flicked his arm out, stopping the ball with his hand and wrist.
I would imagine that 9 times out of ten the linesman would flag for it but he just seemed to freeze. Never mind, even with a penalty (just like the other chances we had) you still have to score it.
Onwards and upwards, let's get a win at Lowestoft!

at the end of the day we lost 1-0 to a team that was 3rd in the table we still have a game in hand and will still be above them after the game in hand! I couldnt get to the game but the only thing that ive heard was the problem of not sticking the ball in the back of the net which as yet we havnt had trouble doing!
We have a big game on Saturday which should be a good game and 1 we need to win!
If i was given the choice before tonights game of which 1 i'd prefer to have lost i would have chosen this game cos albeit Kingstonian are our rivals and all i dont think they will be top 2/3 come end of the season where as lowestoft will!!
Heres to a win on Saturday

Any other team on any other day would have got beaten by that performance tonight, especially in the first half. It just happened to be Kingstonian at their place. In terms of the first half and the way we played, I don't think ive seen a weaker team this season that the Ks. A solid defence, but with no midfield and the threat of Traynor snuffed out, the Ks literally offered nothing, and we played at a frantic pace, like we did at Borehamwood last season. Opportunities went begging and there were at least 2 occasions where the ball fell in the 6 yard box and if the ball bounced in any other way it would have gone in. 2nd half was a different matter - the pace we played that game at is almost impossible to maintain for more than 65/70 minutes and the counter happened. Even after that there were incidents (including a nailed on handball in the box) where the ref and lino (who I thought had poor games - thats not sour grapes, there were plenty of decisions in the first half which went our way and shouldn't have) failed to follow the laws of the game. Todays man of the match - difficult one, but I think i'd have to go with either Karl Murray or Simon Downer. Both did their jobs solidly. As for the supporters. The majority of the Sutton crowd tonight did us proud - a great turn out and we supported our teams. As for Ks - well it is unfair to tar them all with the same brush but I can sum it up when the teams came on before kick off - the loudest part of the sutton support were shouting "Come on you yellows" and "United" etc, which the Ks counterparts were shouting "We hate Sutton" and "Piss and sh*t" and did their usual trick of not supporting their club but just generally being offensive to Sutton. To them, they won the title tonight. But in my opinion, they are not football supporters, and do not support their team. Tooting and Carshalton could be exactly the same, but the majority of their fans actually would prefer to support their team. For a very rare occasion on this messageboard I agree with Billy (certainly in the sentiment, but maybe i'd use different words ) If K's deserved the win tonight (like they did with their 2nd half performance in the play off), hats off to them. Tonight they didn't and they know they didn't. But I walked away from their ground tonight having seen very little evidence that they will maintain a serious challenge for the title. As I said tonight (which others have used ) they've won this battle, but they will not win this war.

Just back home from the game. Of course I'm pleased with the three points but it was a poor game from K's and we rode our luck to extreme levels. We hoofed the ball a lot and clearly the substitutions changed things about.
Result was massively unfair on Sutton. That's football for you.
Not sure who this 'Hoopsa' character is but he seems a right pillock!

Carl, thanks. I know there are some decent Ks supporters there. Its such a shame you get tarnished by some right pillocks (both in the ground and the wonderful Hoopsa on here).

What exactly is so offensive about what I've said?! I'm just defending our fans, who, on the whole are a good bunch of people who just want to support their team. End of.
