To quote Mourinho recently (vaguely) we (they) deserved to win because we scored a goal.
We played well and created alot of chances, nothing fell for us tonight, one of those days.
Good stout defending from K's and they deserve credit for that, we put them under alot of pressure and they kept us out. Another day we could've got 4-5.
Move on to the next game and hope we can put our chances away, should be an open game again on saturday i think.

Hoops, you coming on here going 'Unnnnnlucky', going on about your reserve keeper being too old and fat, and going on about hypocrisy and the usual Ks twaddle about Steve McKimm. Posting that on a Sutton website can only be done to provoke a reaction. Go do it on your own board, your attitude only serves to re-enforce the negative opinion a lot of us have about a large amount of your support.

"Twaddle about Steve McKimm"?! So you feel that an assistant manager starting on a Ks fan in the bar afterwards is acceptable behaviour of someone in management?! (last season) Really??
I even wrote that you deserved to win, and will probably win the league!! I wrote that about your reserve goalkeeper because people were having a go at our fans for using the word w4nker, when he was using much more abusive language.

What exactly is so offensive about what I've said?! I'm just defending our fans, who, on the whole are a good bunch of people who just want to support their team. End of. As an opposition fan on a Sutton messageboard you shouldn't do that. Sorry for the pillock remark but coming on here after that great result really does make us look a bit foolish. If you want to join the wankfest get on K's web and smug your heart out. i.e Hello and welcome to Amber Planet, the message forum for Sutton United Football Club. Please play nice! having an opinion is fine but please do not overstep the mark

Its certainly not sour grapes, I would have said the same even if we had won. I just don't think that type of support has any place in NL football whose fans are for the most part well educated. We are capable of looking at a game objectively and making a fair appraisal win lose or draw.

There is a very good twitter-update commentary of the game here: twitter.com/moosebert1 - read through the tweets if you can bear to re-live it but it is a very fair commentary from a K's perspective with some comments that one or two contibutors on this thread may find interesting!

Sutton fans give as good as they get on our forum. At the end of the day it's banter, I haven't been nasty or abusive. What I said about their reserve goalkeeper is fact - he doesn't deserve to play for a team that is likely to win the league this season.
Wow, if saying "uuuuuunlucky" is overstepping the mark, I don't even know what to say.

I've backed them up despite being a k's fan which was probably not the response you expected. You look stupid to be honest. Now you're back-tracking and acting the innocent party. Who are you trying to act innocent to? It's a Sutton website! Good luck to Sutton fans (but not too much) and i'll see you at the return. I'm off to bed and 'hoopsa' you need to turn in too because you have school tomorrow!

Carl - what have I backtracked on?! I've stood by all of my statements, that is not back-tracking. I just re-iterated what I had said in previous posts, so I don't understand your comment.
I simply asked what I'd said that was so offensive - how is that trying to "act the innocent party"?
Maybe I shouldn't have said 'uuuunlucky', but christ, if that really gets people irate, they seriously need to chill out!!

Superb defensive display from the K's today. So many chances were cleared or blocked and we spurned the really good ones we had.
If Fola had connected with his header a millisecond earlier we would have been celebrating a win.
As it is we got mugged off and it hurts quite a lot even though it may well mean nothing come the end of the season.
Since everybody else will be too polite to mention it, opening one turnstile and the stand entrance for a big local derby was disgraceful.
Well over 250 people stuck outside at kick off and it took a good five/ten minutes before somebody had the wit and judgement to take control of the situation and get people paying their way and getting inside the ground.
I don't know who that lady was but she dealt with the situation superbly.

AAARRGH!!!! When will we get a bloody break against that shower! So annoying when you play so well and get nothing from it. Still, must make the most of our domination of a game next time!!! Turnstile provision was obsured. There was a bloody long queue when we arrived nearly 20 minutes before kickoff! Also, there was no light provided where the programmes were being sold, so it took Dad ages to find the right money in the grim darkness. The programme seller winged that AFC W would not turn the light on for them, but gave me a rather blank look of confusion when I suggested that he move some 20 yards, past the toilets. to where there was sufficient light. Simple??? We also enjoyed a pleasent exit from the ground, being treated to a nice rendition of "Piss on the b######s bellow" (We're still ahead of K's on goal difference), "We hate Sutton" and recieved kind advice such as "f##k off back to your own borough, scum." All in all we really had a good time last night

OK, its a fair cop, you were mugged. You were comfortbaly the better side for the first hour and the best RPL side I have seen all season. Infact you reminded me of dartford when they wopped us 6-2 at Kingsmeadow and indeed on another night you could have scored six, although I did feel we defended pretty well considering the pressure we were under. I thought BWG was particulalrly impressive and I think all the K's fans were mightily relieved when he was substituted. Although we were coming back into the game at the time I thought we looked better after our substitutions and you looked worse. I don't think there is any menace in the K's fans behaviour (you should try Borehamwood!!!), just a bit of boorish banter we could probably do without.
