Surely some mistake, fluffy - I'm thinking you meant to say 'Full Time 1-0 '

We were mugged. They scored in the 87th minute. No really gilt edged chances in the game but Sutton dominated most of it.Don't think the substitutions helped especially taking off BWG after pushing him further forward for just a few minutes they took him off.Their sub scored the only goal just after coming on.

Karl Murray was great today in the middle.

Solid performance, bossed the game for large parts but if we dont make enough of the chances we create, this can always happen. Should have had a certain penalty for handball in the second half and the ref was very lenient with some of their players but at the end of the day, we failed to capitalise on some posession in very good areas.
We really need a win at the seaside now!

We did mug you a bit to be fair, but it's bloody marvellous to end your unbeaten run.
Uuuuuuuuuunlucky.

AB said to me at HT the script was already written and so it was!
I thought our first 45 min performance was the best this season, K's simply just penned in with the odd break forward. We had chances one cleared off the line, I think we hit the woodwork again from a free kick making it 14 times in all games this season so far. K's resulted to stopping U's in anyway they could and were treated most leniently by the ref choosing to allow cynical fouls un-carded with the exception on one in the first half. You can't help thinking that a lot of K's fans have some sort of scar from their childhood that makes them the most foul mouthed horrible bunch of people you could wish to meet, I guess on other nights they terrorise the old ladies outside the bingo hall?
K's have a system against us and it works if they get the luck, we need to look at our problems when teams defend deep against us, Concord / Ricay / Alton / K's. Although we beat Ricay its the same issue one ball over the top and we look exposed, we are clearly missing Bray and JD. I don't think our changes tonight were right, the attempt to force the game did work but against us. Having said that we were by far the better side and had we have created the end product could have been 3 up at HT such was our dominance. Disappointed is not the word for tonight but I don't think people should just put it down to bad luck and ignore the issues we have, only by doing that can we go on and win this title.
We can improve and I don't think K's can and that has to be our incentive, we are only inches from putting 6 past them and they know it's coming.

From our point of view, we didn't play particularly well, but, somehow nicked it which has happened through most of the season so far. I'm sorry our passionate support is not to your taste, but we get behind the lads any way we can. As far as "foul-mouthed", your reserve goalkeeper behaved like an absolute moron, and he had a go at some of our older supporters in the Grolsch stand, and manically protested against our goal for no reason. He has no place being in a team that is probably going to win the league; he's too old, too fat and too lary.

TBH I don't think many of us were much bothered about the unbeaten run. It was only eight games, and was bound to end some time. What was disappointing - as last April - was that we contrived to lose a match in which we outplayed K's for most of the 90 minutes.
I thought our passing and movement this evening were excellent, particularly in the first half. I agree with Vern that Karl Murray had a fine game - he has a bit more physical presence than Kennedy Adjei, which is perhaps what we've been lacking in midfield.
It's just a shame that we couldn't get a decent shot on target. Richard Jolly had one of those games in which nothing went right for him in front of goal. But credit to the K's defence - particularly their numbers 4 (Thompson) and 6 (ex-U Tobi Jinadu) who were commanding in the air. They restricted our players to shots that were either from long range or tight angles.
We did lose some momentum in the final 15 minutes, and K's did have a spell of pressure before scoring another late winner at Kingsmeadow.
We shouldn't be too disheartened by the result. We are still top of the league, at least until Lowestoft play tomorrow. Our game there on Saturday now looks rather important.

The performance we put in tonight does not deserve a down-hearted atmosphere. Let's just face facts - they're our bogey team at the moment but we've only got to wait another few weeks to try and end our run against them.
Plenty of positives from tonight, and if we approach the game on Saturday in a similar fashion we can get the 3 points.
We're still not in a bad position, having that game in hand against Croydon Athletic gives us the edge.
Roll on Saturday and let's try and make a similar atmosphere to spur the lads on

I'm sorry our passionate support is not to your taste, I did not realise the word 'W*NKER' was normally used to desrcibe passionate? Although the number of times it was used by K's fans tonight maybe the Guiness book of records might be worth a call!

Spot on.It's unbelievable. Not read the programme yet but i remember last year's informing us that Kingstonian were a "family" club.If i was there with my family i would have walked out after 10 minutes , something should be done about those morons.
