Usually if a side is found guilty and chucked out the opponents wronged go through instead.

No, hang on, that can't be right. If we got reinstated, we'd get a home tie! The minutes of the last F.A. AGM clearly state that Sutton Utd will not get any home draws in either of the major cup competitions of 2015/16.

It really baffles me how clubs can be so poorly organised to allow this thing to happen so regularly, when was the last time Sutton fielded an ineligible player? (Perhaps a question for Mr Frake)

From what I recall, it would have been Peter Kemp in the SSC back in the late '70's. We drew the match (Kemp scored) and the County made us play the replay at Sandy Lane where the original tie had been played. We lost.
Back then a player was cup tied if he had played in another County Cup in the same season. Kemp had played in the Kent Senior.

We should at least get the prize money if Concord are found guilty.

The way that the Concord Chairman behaves himself I'm stunned that they manage to do anything properly

Ignorance isn't an excuse. Totter, we should give him Spencer Day's phone number!

I must be getting soft in my old age as I feel sorry for them.
However, I'm delighted we are the possible beneficiaries.

Yeah, to be honest it is a shame for them. The club apparently did have a competent person in charge of these things, but they were away and probably wouldn't have foreseen the situation before leaving. It seems nobody was deliberately cheating, either. Just one of those things really. But if a player's on loan from a higher level, then they're potentially a better player than the average of our two sides and arguably that gave them an advantage.
