I support Caley Thistle(ICT) and whenever I go to stay in Fort Augustus I try to see them at least when playing at home. By and large the SFL Championship League is equal to the best of our 2nd Division so we should be able to hold our own in the Irn-Bru matches it is the refs you have to look out for, and you think our National League refs are bad!

Do you mean by that the Championship (2nd division) or League 2 (4th division)?

Do you mean by that the Championship (2nd division) or League 2 (4th division)? SFL Championship = best of EFL League 2 So you mean the fourth division. I understand the draw is tomorrow but we don't come in until the second round. Is the second round draw included though - either / or for round two?

So there's a preliminary round too.

So there's a preliminary round too. Yes it's caused a (minor) backlash "up here" as the invitation to the 2 English clubs came well after the Highland and Lowland League clubs were told that 4th place was sufficient to get into the cup and the chance to play against "the big boys". Now 3rd vs 4th is necessary as a preliminary round. The backlash isn't against us or Boreham Wood by the way, in general the English clubs particpation is seen as a good thing, rather its the SPFL.

I could be wrong, prize money for the semi finalists is £10,250. You don’t receive prize money after each round, you only get it when you are knocked out or win the competition.

I assumed that we get prize money for each round we take part in, as per the FA Cup. But this is just my assumption and I accept that I could be wrong. If I am, that certainly makes the tournament rather less attractive...

Every supporter that turns up to watch gets a free can of Irn Bru.

Well I shall be cheering for our opponents in an effort to get knocked out in the 2nd round at home, picking up no injuries on the way..
