Final third of the season starts here for us against a Barrow side who probably have very little to play for now (too far off the play-offs hunt but safe from relegation) yet remain one of the few teams to have actually beaten us during this campaign.
I’m hoping this weekend we can build on successive excellent, resolute 1-0 victories against Ebbsfleet and Barnet. With no midweek game (maybe the Salford game being postponed was a blessing?!) hopefully Bailey, Toure and Davis can recover from their knocks sustained last weekend.
Big double-header of home games with Barnet also visiting Tuesday. C’mon U’s lets get those points!

Mid table they may be, but they have got form against the top clubs here - they've recently beaten Solihull away, drew at Fylde and beat Salford at home. They've not won in the last 5, but 4 of those have been draws. They also don't let many goals in (like us about a goal per game).
Let's make sure they don't do a "double" over us

Barrow in fairness will not be easy to beat.

Barrow in fairness will not be easy to beat. They’ll be shipping goals and Pie(l) eyed by the time we’ve sunk ‘em!

I, for one, hope they keel over

They will do as long as we take stern action against them.

Barrow in fairness will not be easy to beat. Two commas required, I suggest.

What’s happened to Wayne Brown? (Jonathan Barden signing made me think of him).
