Tough one this. Chesterfield are much improved since James Rowe took over as manager, and won 1-0 at GGL in one of his early games in charge. They've only lost three times since then, all on the road, including 2-0 at Maidenhead on Saturday. They've won their last six home games in the league, though four of those were only 1-0 or 2-1.
One player we won't face tomorrow is giant striker Tom Denton who's out with a long-term injury. Their main danger man is ex-Solihull forward Akwasi Asante who's been scoring for fun since following Rowe from Gloucester City.
I understand that former Chesterfield striker Kevin Davies will be on co-commentator duties.

This to me is always going to be a tougher game than Stockport or Torquay away. I fully expect Chesterfield to be in a play off spot at the end of the season.

I think a lot depends upon what sort of team we are able to put out. Reading the match performances of their players against Maidenhead they openly admit they deserved to lose. We are a confident team and i feel we are good for at least a draw providing there are no hold ups on the way up there !

Matt as ever will challenge the team to keep a clean sheet. I think we’ll have to be better than the last couple of games defensively and generally to get anything out of the game. There have been signs in the last couple of games I’ve seen (Yeovil and Bromley) that defensively we’ve not been quite as good as normal. I think Chesterfield will be a lot better than at our place as results have been much improved and their home form particularly is exceptional. Anything out of this game is in my mind a bonus. But this group continues to surprise on the upside and keeps upsetting the big boys.

Yeovil were particularly impressive with their movement and quick football. Any defensive will be tested playing against those sides. Chesterfield are a very good side so it will be difficult. Hopefully David and Isaac will be back. I fancy us to nick the win and Pools, Notts County and Torquay all to draw

Yes both decent sides but I just sensed they got more space at certain times than we normally allow (by our high standards) and at times we didn’t attack the first ball forward that well - Bromley first half and Yeovil second. We won both games but could easily have been the other way. Obviously generally we’re up there with the best in the league defensively. Chesterfield beat Yeovil 3-0 at home recently for some perspective. I know every game is different but you’d think that shows the challenge we face.

Well, Chesterfield's is a fairly new stadium so I guess the matching one is too.

All four stands are exactly the same and that’s including the main stand with the press seating arrangements and the hospitality suite.
