No excuses. Who the hell do you think you are? A supporter who expects us to beat the bottom team in the league otherwise do we throw away all the hard work that's gone before. You can make excuses as much as you like. There is no need to have a go at me because you got out of the wrong side of the bed. A supporter with the attitude of a Premier League fan. Have you seen the recent form guide? They maybe bottom of the league but not under their new management, they're actually above us. As ever with you Del, what you expect and what may occur may end up not being the same. If you're so good at predicting football how come you're not a millionaire yet and able to plough dosh into the club? As for my bed, it has two sides and neither are wrong. |

Ha ha that implies the bar was pretty low before! I'm happy to stand by my comment that if we can't beat a side bottom of the table, at home, then we don't deserve to be champions. This is exactly the type of game we need to go and win to take that title. If we come out and play like we did against Bromley recently, or Chesterfield away, or the last 20 mins at Halifax, then any side in this league will struggle against us. If however we come out and play like we did against Eastleigh or at Solihull or the first 70 mins at Halifax, then really any team would fancy our chances. It's about consistency now and getting the job done. I'm happy for 1-0 wins for us for the rest of the season, but if you take out the Altrincham game (against one of the weakest sides I've seen this season), the other 4 games in the last 5 we've failed to score. Yes I know they are on their best form of the season, but they've played a bang middle of the road side in Aldershot and won, drew with Boreham Wood, who pretty much have drawn with everyone this season and drew with Maidenhead who beat Chesterfield and Torquay, then go on to lose to Altrincham and Weymouth. Speaking to a couple of Barnet fans I know, they said the same thing - there's only so far they can go with a group of poor players. We've not been lower than 4th this season for a reason, and they've been bottom of the league for months now for a reason. I don't think anyone should be in any doubt that we are a better side than them for exactly that reason. Tonight we just have to make sure we show that we are. |
