Tonight was a well worked performance against a team find their feet under new management. Barnet look well organised and at times difficult to break down but a win is a win and you get 3 points for 10 - 0 as for 1 - 0 so glad that Omar smashed home his goal and now we take on Aldershot let's hope we carry on with good form and team spirit that has been with us all season.

These late goals by Torquay are really getting on my pecs. Their unbeaten run since the start of April has seen them gain an extra 11 points from the 80th minute onwards:
Woking 1-0 (83rd minute) Wrexham 1-0 (93rd minute) Weymouth 2-1 (85th minute) Sutton Utd 1-0 (81st minute) Notts County 2-2 (98th minute) Aldershot 2-1 (97th minute)
They deserve credit for continuing to find a way to get the job done, but surely they’ve used up all their Felix Felicus by now (one for the Potterheads, that reference!).

Its just going to get tougher for them, they have to play : Chesterfield, Eastleigh, Stockport and Bromley in their last 6 games all going for playoff places.

I wondered what happened to the "A Ferguson Everwrong watch" after its owner retired from the dugout. No evidence of it remaining at Old Trafford. 97th & 98th Minutes?? Compelling clues it is to be found alive and ticking (slowly) at Plainmoor.

I gather from the Torquay forum that last night's referee at Plainmoor (a certain Daniel Lamport) awarded the home side a penalty in stoppage time then, after consulting an assistant, changed his mind. In the further time added on for this deliberation Torquay scored their winner from open play.🙄

To be fair, we've had occasion this season where late goals have helped us too, but I can also think of a couple of games where we've dropped points in the last minute of time!
I thought Omar was immense last night. He dictated the entire game for me and fully deserved his goal. He was my MoM by a country mile.
In other news, if we do stay in this league next season, we'll be facing a trip to Blundell Park, as Grimsby were relegated last night. I believe they went up into the league the season we were promoted so just missed out playing them. I wonder if we will miss out playing them again?
The other relegated side will be between Colchester, Scunthorpe and Southend. The last one of those needing a miracle to stay up.
If we do go up, we won't be playing Cheltenham in the league, as they secured promotion last night, but will be playing Swindon, Bristol Rovers (both already relegated) and 2 of AFC Wimbledon, Wigan, Rochdale and Northampton. The latter two again look most likely.

For myself, just for geographical proximity, I hope to see Northampton but am gutted we are likely not to see Cambridge.

To my mind you have to find a place for Kenny in the starting line up, as soon as he came on the door shut on Barnet, before that they had a threat. I think that would give Harry more of a free role to create as well? Well, you'll certainly have me agreeing on Kenny!! Great to see him back - both for his own effectiveness but also, as you note, the opportunity to free up Harry who has, to my eyes, looked a bit suffocated of late. I'll echo the comments re performance, quality of stream and commentary. Didn't mean that the final 10-15 mins weren't extremely unsettling, not helped by Torquay's late-late-late show part 6.
