Another Saturday, another big weekend for us, against a side which is probably the most mid table side there is. They can get decent results e.g. beat Notts County, and then draw against Kings Lynn. As such I think they're pretty unpredictable.
A lot of the focus on Saturday will be the other 6 sides in the current top 7 who all play each other, although none of the 3 other real challengers for the title play each other (Halifax v Stockport, Hartlepool v Chesterfield and Torquay v Eastleigh), those play off contenders looking to cement their place could really make a difference at this state.
On Tuesday night they pretty much all won, so it was no real change near the top, but tomorrow could be a different story.
To me, our obvious issue is goals at the moment. We've played 6 games in April, and we only managed to score in 2 of them. In any competition this season (including the Trophy and the FA Cup), if we've scored in a game we've not lost, and of our 8 defeats this season in all competitions, 7 of them have been by a scoreline of 1-0. If we start getting our goalscoring boots back on, we should get something out of this.
If results go our way we could be top again by 5pm, but if we fail to get any points or even draw, we could be 3rd and possibly 4 points off the top.
It's a home game against a side who realistically (rather than mathematically) won't make the play offs. Again, these are the games you need to win to be champions. Like I said before, I'll take scrappy 1-0 wins like Tuesday all the way until the end of the season.

I think Andy has summed up Aldershot well. If we are looking for a player that could cause us problems then it must be Nouble, the Shots fans believe he is a future star.

I remember his brother, Frank Nouble, from West Ham's Academy. I believe Frank is currently on Plymouth Argyle's books, albeit on loan at the moment.

A must win for me, so let’s hope Kenny Davis is in contention and Omar can add to his goal Tuesday. Keep it tight at the back and we should be ok and the confidence should be good, so let’s go out and smash them.

Every game is a cup final and hopefully we can pick up 3 points before we have a very tough game at Notts County. Difficult to leave Kenny out but unless Matt changes the formation i think the changes he will make are Goodliffe for Rowe if fit and Browne for Wilson with Olaofe partnering Omar up front.

On the basis of form, today's match is tougher than the one at Notts County. Aldershot are currently 7th in the form table. Notts are 19th. We're 12th.
Our recent strength has been the defence - only two goals conceded in the last six games (and one of those was offside). Another clean sheet this afternoon and (as on Tuesday) a single goal is enough for three points.

I think Andy has summed up Aldershot well. If we are looking for a player that could cause us problems then it must be Nouble, the Shots fans believe he is a future star. Aldershot's most dangerous player in the opening half by a country mile, so composed on the ball and his first time passes are deadly. Full marks to the ref for booking him for simulation just before our second goal. He's a canny lad for sure.

I've more fingers and toes crossed than a cryptic crossword of the largest crossword in the world ever.
Never thought that I'd be cheering on Eastleigh twice in a season.

Well I wouldn't say that I was as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot at 2-1 but that third goal has made me feel as confident as the bloke that fires the bullet at said nun.
I just hope Julie Andrews ducks.
