Stockport win tomorrow, then we can win the title next Saturday v Hartlepool. If they draw tomorrow, we can still pretty much do it next weekend with a win (as our goal difference is 6 better than Torquay's). If Torquay win, then it will be making sure we get a draw and a win at a minimum (Torquay have Barnet and Altrincham in their last 2 games).
Stockport will be unable to win the title unless they win all 3 games and both us and Torquay lose our remaining games. Their goal difference is only 1 better than ours.
We've really swung this back, and today was a prime example of that. Our defence was awesome today. We were awesome today. At half time it felt like it was going to be a 1-0 at best for us, but we're better than that.
All eyes on tomorrow.

A 3-0 win at Maidenhead? Up is down, down is up, welcome to bizarro world. Now anything is possible, and even I am starting to believe. Let's see what happens tomorrow. If Torquay win I still make them slight favourites due to their final 2 fixtures, but anything else and I think we are looking very strong for the title.

We had to be patient, but the home resistance was eventually breached after 65 goalless minutes. Their stand-in keeper, who'd made two good saves in the first half, was unable to cut out the fine deliveries from our left that set up our first two goals. And he was stranded off his line as Louis's long-range screamer sailed into the net for no.3.
One set of Magpies may have got the better of us in the month of May but not this lot.
If Torquay fail to win tomorrow then one win from our last two should do it.

Been looking on the Torquay forum
A we are not the best team in the league despite the adage the table never lies
B our pitch is a skating rink and nobody can stand up on it
C we’ve been lucky all season and had no injuries
D we were able to field a full strength team and our opposition had many players out injured ( that ones nearly correct except Harry was out)

Pressure, what pressure, I might be naive but the Sutton team are embracing this run in of games. Playing with confidence. Long may it continue. I was not expecting a win like we had today. 14 minutes a goal after the fist one, pity we didn’t score the first after 51 minutes 🤔.

Because of the positioning of the commentary position today - it was evident who the best player all season has been - Matt . He is constantly telling the players what to do and is relentless- my concern when the fans are back is they won’t be able to hear him and will have to think for themselves.
PSA could someone tell Kenny Davis and Rob Milano not to turn in field and be prepared to kick it long and/ or out - and can Deano learn to kick at 3/4 distance - if he was a golfer he’d always overshoot the greens

Great time to record our best ever win at York Road.
Even before Dos arrived our record there was quite awful, twice losing to them in cup ties when they was a division below us in The Pyramid as well as winning just one in seven league visits.
Today's win was just our third in 15 league visits.
As for Louis John's goal. Took a touch and showed great skill to hit that low and firm from that distance. Brilliant.

all pressure on Torquay now. Although should they win tomorrow I think we will need to win last 2 games which will be tough.
Tomorrow is a really big game.

Brilliant open and competitive game which we certainly deserved to win. I still can't process the fact that we might get promoted given our history as a long established non-league team, it all seems rather unreal.

Brilliant. So proud of Matt and the boys. Our defence is as solid as a rock and Omar a complete workhouse.( in a good way). He simply never gives up. Got a feeling next weekend could get pretty emotional down the lane.🤞💛
