Here's a question - when's the last time a game not involving us but directly affecting us was this keenly followed by U's fans?! I'm struggling to think of one. I'm sure there was a game a few year's back (a Sunday at Bromley ?) when all the loonies went over there.A certain result in the game would see Sutton United promoted - which happened.

If you offer me a draw right now, I’d snatch your arm off!

County fan here with a soft spot for Sutton (I know a couple of you). Hoping we do you guys a favour today as I'm hoping its the two of us who go up. Don't know what was going on with that penalty, not like us to be so ill disciplined in the box.

Both of you must both be "newer" U's supporters..........this has happened before, when we were hoping to win the Ryman League in the 2010/11 season, when, on a Sunday afternoon a very large contingent of us went to Hayes Lane to watch Cray Wanderers beat Bury Town and effectively win us the League...........Billy, your memory was correct

Have to say, having read posts on both Stockport and Torquay forums, I've got a lot more respect for Stockport fans than Torquay. There were a few gracious posts from you guys after our victory yesterday, more than can be said for Torquay.

For me it's the personal connection of knowing some Sutton fans and living not a million miles away. For others its the love of the underdog and the fact that unlike the other traditional non league sides who have recently pushed for league you're not bankrolled to the hilt.

That's refreshing to hear. All Torquay supporters could bang on about was how our 3G pitch gives us an unfair advantage (even though they beat us on it recently!). Back to the game.....come on County!

Like the look of the lad who scored for County - Southam-Hales - absolutely rapid and scored a pearler of a goal with his left foot.

But I'd hazard this is ultimately more important to us than winning the Ryman.
