All over. No 90+32 minute winner for Torquay.

So, does this mean that even if Torquay win both of their remaining matches (which they should) we still only need to win one of ours?
Providing we don't ship lots of goals in a potential loss, then Torquay would have to score something like 7 goals (and not conceed any) in their two potential victories to overhaul our better goal difference? In that scenario.
I need help, here...

You're currently +35 to Torquay's +29 so a 6/7 goal swing depending on goals scored.

In that scenario. I need help, here... It's a 6 or 7 goal swing required, goals scored counts incase of a tie. If we win 1-0 and lose 1-0 torquay would pip us on GS with two 3-0 wins. A dead tie is also possible - for example a 3-1 defeat and a 1-0 win, with torquay winning 2-0 and 3-0

We go into the Hartlepool game knowing the Torquay v Barnet result from the previous day. We expect Torquay to win. 2-0 would put us under less pressure than 6-0!

This is why I wanted a draw today. Goal difference was key to my wish. I fully believe that Sutton can win the final two games but Stockport have to play Woking and Yeovil. Torquay's last game is Altrincham after Barnet.
I fully believe that Sutton will now win the league and some others must feel a tad silly thinking that it was gone a couple of weeks ago.

That goal difference is effectively an extra point at this stage

We’ve given ourselves a good chance now. The players and management have kept their cool and concentration so far in this campaign and we need to continue to do so. There’s going to be a lot of attention on us this week and we need to retain clear minds. All the focus needs to be on a performance and result versus Hartlepool. Let’s take it to them and look for another win in an extraordinary season. The same discipline in terms of cards and decision making is required.
We have now sealed a home semi final in the play offs at the very least. That alone is worth some celebration. Incredible incredible effort.

Brilliant game and great advert for the National League. Two excellent teams playing a high calibre match. Puts our current position in context.

I know that this will not affect the next 2 games for Torquay but in their last 24 league games they haven’t won a game by more than 2 goals and have only scored 3 goals once in those 24 league games.
