Unexpected help from Barnet there! Stockport only drawing with Woking though gives Hartlepool a better chance of snatching 3rd place from the Hatters.🤔

As Barnet showed today 2 very tough games to play (we got unlucky with Barnet fixtures but they certainly helped us today). Would love it to be done tomorrow in front of returning fans. Big push everyone.

Yesss!! 2-2 full time!! Not enough to open the champagne just yet but so so close!!! Let’s get the promotion tomorrow in front of all the fans!!!! It's a funny old game as Jimmy Greaves remarked. Had Torquay beaten Barnet (top at home to bottom, it was an odds on) no result tomorrow would have justified having the trophy in the van. Yet BT Sport took the gamble of having Sutton's match last of the weekend. I wonder how many U's fans will turn up like me tomorrow with some trepidation? Sutton have done better in my absence this season than they have ever done in my presence. |
