Today Hartlepool take on Bromley. I would like to see Bromley win this but as i believe Hartlepool will rejoin the 92 i'm going for a Hartlepool win. They are very strong at home.

I wonder what provisions Bromley have made for potential promotion.
Not that I really care but they will have a shorter time period than what Sutton had so if they do go up a groundshare might have to be considered. Although I believe they can request that their first three games be played away from home.
Such a shame this ripping up perfectly good playing 3G surfaces, innit?

3-0 up in the opening 24 minutes. Game over surely.

I am wondering why Bromley are playing in red though. Surely the blue of Hartlepool won't clash with the white of Bromley?

Or haven't you noticed that over the last few years, presumably because of shirt sponsorships. So pleased Sutton wore Amber whenever they could towards the end of the season.

I have to say I am really enjoying the playoffs with us not in them 2 great games, can't wait for next weekend, all I keep thinking is we were better than all them, and they all look pretty good. I predict Stockport to win the final, they play really good football. I think Torquay have burnt themselves out, and Pools keeper is going to come a cropper.

Ah yes you are right to say so but Notts are certainly the most 'famous' oldest club. If that makes sense. I should have said oldest football league club until they got relegated. Who are the oldest now? Nottingham Forest I presume Dr. Watson..... Many ways to skin this cat. A club founded before the Football League was not in those earlier years a Football League Club. The Football League was founded in 1888. If my distant memory of a tour round Villa Park is accurate - the first named club in alphabetical order was Accrington, but William McGregor of Aston Villa was given the honour of signing first since the League was his idea. Therefore Aston Villa are the oldest Football League Club. Strange to think that the concept of a league, all play all home and away, was not as old as the hills, perhaps from ancient Rome or Greece. But it isn't, nothing was played in leagues with that format until Football in England.

It's so nice to watch a play-off game and relax knowing that the job for your team is already done. Watching Torquay though is just like watching Brazil!

Notts seemed to finish the first half the stronger side. I'm with you on them to win.
However, a mate of mine is a Torquay fan so I'd be pleased to be proven wrong.

In view of our shocking record against Notts County, I'd prefer that Torquay consigned them to another season in the National League.
