Advantage Torquay now, surely they'll put everyone back behind the ball now !

Kyle Wootton looks quite handy if Isaac doesn't stay.
Incidentally looking at the Notts County squad it looked like they had 5 goalies.

Kyle Wootton looks quite handy if Isaac doesn't stay. Incidentally looking at the Notts County squad it looked like they had 5 goalies. I don't think that's a viable option. Kyle's got about a year of his contract left to run. Plus I suspect County will be looking for significantly more than the £60k they originally paid for their top goalscorer.

If Sutton look to sign a striker from a National League team, I'd personally like it to be Michael Cheek if that was to be a viable option. Notts County are good going forward but they are not strong enough defensively. Once the game went to extra-time there was only ever going to be one winner. Torquay have been winning games in 'extra time' all season.

Torquay were just the more ruthless in front of goal this afternoon.
Curious to think that next season we'll be playing at a higher level than Notts County (a club whom we've played seven times and never beaten).

Missed the play off game today what with the England game being played but i see Hartlepool won through and now face Torquay at Bristol next weekend.

It would have clashed with the England game if it had gone into extra time - I know it's down to what time BT can show it but it seems odd not to have kicked off half an hour earlier. Well, it didn't matter in the end

Stockport were a little lacklustre today, Hartlepool bided their time and struck when their late opportunity arose.
So we'll be returning to either Plainmoor or Victoria Park next season, both grounds that are quite familiar to some of us, and not far off in opposite corners of the country. We've already got a few trips to the south-west lined up, none as yet to the north-east (beyond Yorkshire).

My prediction has gone mainly due to the fact that Stockport again failed to capitalise on home advantage, which really prevented them from getting the title themselves.
I don't think we can begrudge either team that will go up, as they were only 4 points apart come the last day of the season. I'm happy with either of them to be honest. I'm just pleased Notts didn't make it.

Cheapest tickets for the final...£41. No concessions either. Glad we did it the easy way 😳
