So on our travels again for the 3rd time in a week. A trip to the bookies favourites for the title. They started the season with an away draw at home to Leyton Orient, and sit in 11th on the basis that the other 6 sides drew 0-0 rather than the 1-1 they achieved.
As with any game in this part of the season, there is no pressure on us at all. If however we come away with something tomorrow, that would already be a huge achievement.
Salford have Brandon Thomas-Asante who played on loan for us (from MK Dons) in 2018/9.

Still very reasonable pricing by Salford and a tidy neat stadium to boot. Would like to be there for this one but sadly can't. I have a suspicion that we are going to come away with at least a point but as Andy says there is no pressure on us at present.

From the Salford City forum: Another bunch of chirpy Cockernees dressed in yellow at home for second week running. Favourites for the top against favourite for the drop, what could possibly go wrong? Both GB and GN not completely enamoured with the Derby result! It is up to the players, do they want it or not. We badly need a handsome win to get the party started. Elliot out with ankle injury. Should be plenty of goals.

We were magnificent in the 1st half @cardiff - the defeat still hurts for me.
Humble this lot this afternoon.

I'd love to come on here to call it a two nil win for Sutton but then realism kicks in with nip of optimism, 1-1. We've always got goals in us but it's going to take a few more matches for the Sutton machine to oil then we'll start winning games.
Hoping I'm wrong and it's a case of magical realism with Sutton winning 2-0.

Few hours before kick off but I’m on the 11.18 from Euston which is stuck at Watford Junction as a lorry has whacked into a bridge up the line and nowt is moving until engineers give the bridge the health and safety treatment. Might be a long while…

According to HertsLive the lorry collided with the bridge. In a statement the bridge denies this saying it was stationary at the time.

Seems like, coach or train, it’s a bugger today. M6 is like a car park at times. Fingers crossed we make it!! #SupportersClubCoach

As we approach half time it's good to see that
____________
"42' Bouzanis called into action and does well to dive and save a Morris shot, Ajiboye breaks and is bought down by Touray who sees the first yellow here.
SAL 0-0 SUT"

I hope Bouzanis has a good game.

Very promising start but then we kept loosing ground… We have only one player, Ajiboye, to put a threat to the opposition. We need to improve to get more from this game.

Lacking strike power today, decision not to have Dundas on the bench may prove costly.

Shockingly enough, after the way the second half started, we are the team that went closer to getting it with the huge chances of John and Eastmond. Let’s take the positives from this - the solid game from Bouzanis, the promising appearences of Bennet and Boudewijn, the first clean sheet and the first EFL point ever!
