I believe the set up for ifollow is connected to the fans buying, i.e. Swindon make good cash out of a game hosted at Sutton (there may be a little bit for the home club from first x sales). We would keep those buying through our website (less any EFL take or whatever). Set up nicely for the bigger clubs (again). Unless they changed it this season. Accrington owner (who is worth a follow for his honest/open views on the EFL) not happy about it last season. You’d think at least a 50/50 spilt on away sales would be fairer.

Hi Sol, good to chat last night. What about Louis??
Changing the subject, I heard that the hooligan element from Swindon, kicked some of the pitch fence down.

A career of injuries if I remember correctly from watching Sunderland documentary! Doesn’t look like he’ll be at this level for long. They’ve not started him that often I don’t think. He certainly has had his career slowed by injuries. Never even seen him attempt to have a go like that though, far too often looking for someone to pass the ball too. Very very little player as you can imagine and agree if a League One team doesn't pick him up in January I imagine they will next Summer. Lovely lad too is Jonny.

U's unbeaten run had to end sometime and I had a feeling last night may have been the occasion. Swindon has a great away record this season so Del's expectant three points was to me, a ridiculous statement and not for the first time his expectations were wide of the mark.
Swindon were not unlike Salford in the way they moved the ball quickly with great movement and accurate passing. Dean B was tested a couple of times before they scored. Not sure how the ref could see any foul that he gave the f-k for as he was poorly positioned and just guessed cos their fella ended up on the deck. So, of course they score but what a fine finish that was. Town continued to have the best of the play and another great strike but then the scorer is ex-PL so would have that in his armoury you would think. His celebrations would have irked the Crawley home fans if he did that in front of them, mind.
Not sure how the ref could miss a handball that a lino can pick up when much further away but U's were thankful for the flag and Beauts went down the middle.
Second half, U's pushed for an equaliser but were always wary of Swindon's fast breaks. Will R enjoyed a much better second half as did the team in general David A had a couple of strong runs in each half but the best chance of a leveller fell on the head of a diving Joe K but he found their 'keeper.
I think U's struggled to use the wind to full advantage in the first half (blowing diagonally into the temporary stand) with balls going out of play and set pieces sometimes overhit.
Not great losing Beauts with Easty injured too but good to see Jon Barden back and he certainly looked back to fitness - a fine athlete is Bards. A quick recovery to both the two injured.
Can't complain about the result and lots of credit to Swindon who looked the best side U's have met in the EFL this season. They defended well when needed, played it on the deck well but also got their no 9 beyond our back four on a number of occasions with accurate long balls. He was a handful.
Ref was par for the course but certainly not the worst we have seen but that first half f-k decision was very damaging to U's cause.
Another great crowd and any Swindon infiltrators into the home end weren't obvious. Their forum complained that it took 30 minutes to offer the tardis terrace as an overspill. At least we did that unlike the cretins of Crawley.

Think he's trying to wind you up Del he knows football FAR too well to really think a match prediction is as straightforward as looking at form. THAT would be ridiculous!

100% right? Lose to FGR, lose at Cardiff draw at Salford etc. How much of your pools winnings are you donating to the club?
By the way expecting and predicting are too different things and the former smacks of arrogance.
You carry on expecting and every time you're wrong I will point it out.

I must say, seeing Jonny Williams, a bloody good player, Welsh International & ex Prem league player celebrate like he did against little old Sutton in front of the home fans when Swindon were arguably already cruising, brought a big smile to my face.
Another reminder of how far we have come.

Poor first half an hour and a little bad luck with the free kick in a terrible position. I thought in the second half we had a go and if we had nicked a goal a draw would have been fair enough but also the best we deserved.
I thought apart from the first 30m we contained them well but their defence is rock solid. And they deserved their away 3 points ultimately.
Rendell looked good despite their great defence making life hard for all our forwards. Harry was great and a shame he is injured now. I love you Omar but just think Bennett has the edge in that position, And I think we missed Milsoms quality balls into the box.

I said nothing about any of those games. I thought we would beat Swindon. I was wrong . What on earth has it got do with you. Its no big deal. Its a forum. Everyone has expectations. Get over it. You are just being stupid now.

Speak for yourself.
I don't have expectations as this Division, much like the National League, is too close to call right across it.
It's called planet reality and if that's being stupid then you have just redefined the meaning of the word.

For no important reason aside from my interest, who took over as captain after Harry went off injured? I didn't see.
