Caught up with the scoreline with just a few minutes left to play. Bloody exciting, isn't it!?

Monumental effort from the team...back four as ever abso-bloody-lutely immense and huge credit to Tanto for the persistence for his goal. Could have been even better with Randall only denied by the width of a post heading back across the keeper. It was a bit tense towards the end but on balance we were worth the 1-0 score line.

Great win. Good to get 3 pts in the league and stay in the mix towards the top of the table (3pts off 2nd!!). I make that 4 away league wins out of the last 5. I thought we only won because of 3G 🧐🤔🙄
3 of those away wins were clean sheets. Great signs that we look set up to be competing at the right end this season.

What can you say about this team, out standing all put a shift in and what about Tanto for hassling there goal keeper and then bearing the ball. We can and should be so proud of this team for there never say die attitude. I was watching Sheffield Wendy thee over day on the box and thinking that we are only one league below them a club that big it just shows you how far we have come as a club and who knows how far we can go with this ambitions board we have. The future really is bright⚽️

Our away form this season is pretty impressive: four wins and two draws in the league, and two of our three defeats were only lost in stoppage time.
Today's win was down to Tanto chasing what looked a lost cause, successfully challenging a defender for the ball, then profiting from a clear run on goal. He'd not made much impression before that moment, but it proved his value to the team. (See also his opportunistic goal at Crawley.)
Man of the match for me though was Coby Rowe, imperious in defence, and I understand that it was his shot cleared off the line at the other end. Will Randall's header off the post, after great play by the returning Craig Eastmond and David Ajiboye, also merits a mention.
There's a lot of teeth-gnashing on the Tranmere forum, but I thought they were one of the better sides (if not the best) that we've faced so far in this campaign. They got down the flanks well and put in some dangerous crosses, but our defence was equal to them. Deano had a couple of hairy moments in the second half, but his team mates cleared the danger.
We only climb one place to eighth, but are only three points behind Port Vale in second.

Superb performance, and we really had to dig in at the end, the back four were superb, Coby Rowe and Ben Goodliffe were in fantastic as the centre back pairing.

Over half way towards Matt's self-imposed pre-season target of 50 points. Outstanding.

They were appalling going forward for a side at home. Maybe that’s down to our brilliance and Rowe was indeed very good. We are so dangerous going forward and on another day if the ball had bounced kindly we could have had a couple more. Terrific performance

Another formerly bigger team whose fans' seem to think they're automatically entitled to a play-off position in the league. Well, perhaps not. But they do seem like harsh judges of their own lads. Their season, thus far, is hardly a disaster.

Stunning performance today. Possibly the performance of the season. Tranmere are undoubtedly a good side but we made them look more ordinary. Tranmere didn't score today not because they were poor up front, but more due to our defence. Seriously I don't want to say this too loudly but how the hell is Ben Goodliffe not playing at a significantly higher level than league 2 is a mystery but one, for purely selfish reasons, I don't want us to solve.
One thing I noticed especially compared to the Hayes and Walsall game is how confident we looked today. How many teams will go to Prenton Park this season and play like the home side. I like to think that this is partly due to Eastmond being on the field. Just his presence lifts the entire team.
Our 3rd 1-0 win on the spin and the 4th 1-0 on the spin too.
Really entertaining stuff today.

Magnificent day.
Our team - players and management walk tall you are all superb.
And the trip home on the supporters coach was one of the many reasons I’ll keep travelling to away games until I am 99.
