Don’t forget regarding our trip to Leyton Orient that we won there in 2018 , the year they won the league and we finished 10th. (Didn’t Tommy Wright get a bad injury there- I don’t think he has been the same player since). I also remember they got away with daylight robbery at GGL curtesy of Ross Warner’s keepy uppy ball juggling that went wrong that gave them a last minute penalty. That was the game in which their player got a red card for throwing his boot at the ref whilst he was being stretchered off!!…and the late Justin Edinburgh still complained about the pitch despite them winning. We seemed to have an uncanny knack of winning at the league leaders homes FGR, Orient, Lincoln spring to mind from our NL days, so we should be confident that like going to Tranmere (another happy hunting ground) , Orient shouldn’t be feared I thought that Tommy was injured at our gaff when we played the O’s and their crowd started shouting because of the time that was spent sorting Tommy out on the pitch, I have never forgiven them for that so every time something goes against their team I now have no regrets for anything their supporters suffer.

No, Tommy was injured in our 1-0 at Brisbane Road in 2018. www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/latest-news/step-1/national-league/24084/sutton-united-striker-tommy-wright-ruled-out-for-the-season/
