I read the other day that Sutton were the only one of the 92 that Bolton have never beaten - like Port Vale until they beat us last season - maybe something got lost in translation somewhere!

Ten years ago today: Bromley O Sutton Utd 2. Marvin Williams scored our first after the home keeper inexplicably threw the ball out to Harry Ottaway. Harry Beautyman got the second. 🙂
Another goal for Harry B today?

Not forgetting that on this day in 2016 we drew 2-2 at Hemel Hempstead with a certain Jamie Butler scoring a unique equaliser for the Tudors.
In 2018 we beat Torquay 3-2 away with the winner coming from a last minute penalty from Jamie Collins
In 2021 Wealdstone were vanquished 4-1 at GGL on our way to title glory

You’d have received quite the reaction in 2016 after that Butler goal if you’d have told everyone what would have come next. The ending of that season seemed like a fairytale let alone the insanity to follow in future years

Thought he was crazy at the time - but so glad that 'Mystic Jared' was right! Incidentally, I think it was 6 years ago today that Wayne Shaw was sacked post 'Piegate'.

You know what they say about a broken clock…. Considering my general outlook it’s strange and off brand that I was optimistic. But that was a great team we had that season.

Tues 5 March 2013: Sutton 4, Bromley 3. Crazy game: we were 2-0 ahead, went 3-2 down, equalised, had a penalty saved, then Harry Beautyman scored a dramatic winner in stoppage time.
In the ensuing mayhem behind the goal my phone flew out of my pocket and smashed. (I got a replacement the next day.)

On this day in 1993 we lost 2-0 to Hendon...remember it well as I got married in the morning and all the guys and I came to the game in the afternoon. I guess it is no surprise that this marriage didn't last...unlike my love for the U's

On this day in 2022, we played quite an important football match in the Greater Manchester area, watched a 120 minutes of football, then a penalty shoot out, then cheered and jumped up and down alot!!

9 years ago today, we won 2-1 at Farnborough Town...........we finished Runner's Up in the Skrill South that year ( Eastleigh went up as Champs )...we drew at Dover ( 1-1 in the First Leg...Dundo being the scorer ), then sadly "froze" in the 2nd Leg, going down to a 3-0 defeat.
