A team we've beaten twice this season play us for the final time. They're currently bottom of the form table and have not won away in the league since beating Barrow in early September.
Obviously we should take nothing for granted, but our home form is one of the reasons we're as high as we are. On Saturday you could tell we were rusty having not played for 10 days. There should be no such issues tonight, and with virtually a full squad to pick from and no adverse weather conditions predicted for tonight, it should well be in our own hands to get a result this evening.

Any idea why the match isn’t being live streamed tonight for those living in far off parts of the country?

Tonight's Colchester should be a different animal from the one we saw, and were put under serious pressure in the last 10 by, last time out.

Craig Eastmond finally gets to play against his former club.
We have a 100% record against Colchester. Let’s hope it continues tonight.

Any idea why the match isn’t being live streamed tonight for those living in far off parts of the country? Have the club said its not or sometimes they don't advertise until late in the day.

From the preview it looks like Colchester have a stronger team now with new signings hoping to arrest their slide.

According to the Colchester website Sutton have decided not to live stream the game. Audio only. There’s also no button on iFollow to live stream.

Or maybe it will encourage people without season tickets to actually go the game and pay £20 each? To get the same income, you'd only need half the number that would buy a stream, plus the additional income from the bar, food etc. and the better atmosphere more spectators would generate.

I get your point Steve and can’t say I disagree. It’s just frustrating for those who live and work many miles away and would be unable to travel but would willingly pay a tenner to watch online. Just wondering what the club’s thinking is and why this match in particular?

Or not on a freezing cold January night. Also what about the overseas viewers? People self isolating ?

Any idea why the match isn’t being live streamed tonight for those living in far off parts of the country? Isn't it a rights thing, that this was originally a Saturday match and therefore wouldn't have been streamed? Or is that me speaking bollocks?
