That is a very good question. I think we all are in agreement that this season has been blighted with injuries Therefore hopefully will be in a better position. Of course we will have to wait and see what happens regarding who stays/goes etc. If we can obtain the 50 points as of this year than again should be OK.

Stewart/is4 - let’s enjoy the end of season party first, before we start to think about next season 👍

Looks like we proved the pundits wrong again, and that most of us were correct in our prediction!

I see that Skybet had Stevenage at 40-1 with only Barrow below them. Top notch bookmaking!

Stevenage's massive turnaround from near relegation last season to promotion this season was due almost entirely to Steve Evans' recritment in the Summer transfer window. He released 15 players, transfer listed 4 more and effectively signed a new team.

It is, of course, not the bookmakers who get outcomes right or wrong. The bookies merely reflect the amount of money put on bets by the punters and adjust their odds accordingly. I've never met a poor bookie BTW! 😊

Stevenage's massive turnaround from near relegation last season to promotion this season was due almost entirely to Steve Evans' recritment in the Summer transfer window. He released 15 players, transfer listed 4 more and effectively signed a new team. Which isn't too surprising. He was only appointed in March 2022 so the summer window was his first, and every new manager that comes in to an underperforming team would want their own side. Doswell did the same when he joined us. Kept 2 players and got rid of the rest.
