Perhaps it's a sign of our collective morale that with just over 24 hours before kick off, no one has started a match thread.
Obviously we're without Goodliffe, Barden, Smith, Wilson (for the last match of his ban) and possibly Harry. Hopefully Randall is back in contention but we're going to be relying pretty much on the same set of players who had been comprehensively beaten on Tuesday, and performed so poorly last Saturday. It will be interesting to see how Coby gets on - the trauma of what happened on Tues night will be a difficult thing to overcome. Like being involved in a car crash; do you get straight behind the wheel again or do you wait? Either way, whether he's on or off the pitch tomorrow, I give Coby my full and unconditional support.
A steadying draw would be welcome at the very least, but maybe some of the enforced changes (and I don't know if any other players have knocks) could help in collectivley injecting a bit of optimism and enthusiam into a team that's had a tough (and disappointing) couple of weeks.

I'm not feeling too optimistic. Tranmere are really gathering momentum at the moment and we know they're a decent side. They stumbled a bit last month but that seemed to be more to do with injuries than anything else and those players are now back

They stumbled a bit last month but that seemed to be more to do with injuries than anything else and those players are now back Fair point, but that's only half of the story. In the last 4 defeats I think we could argue that 2 of them were probably correct, whilst the other 2 were much more self inflicted. If we can prevent the latter from happening we can build up from there. Oh well, crumb of comfort - at least Tuesday we didn't lose to a injury time goal.

That's true but we've since lost another key player to injury. We were already losing at that point.
If I'm wrong I'll be very happy!

Come on where's the optimism ? We are going to win 3-1 A good side doesn't turn into a poor side overnight.

I'm thinking of going to this game.Is it an ordinary/normal match? Or is it yet another Sutton United worthy cause/virtue signalling initiative? It's all become a bit tiresome. The Cecil B. DeMille production that precedes every football match nowadays is enough without all the other stuff.

Utterly pathetic from a grown man.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Aaron Pierre start tomorrow.

I would take a Draw to steady the ship. But we are good at home. Its a chance for other players to step up and be counted. Would be nice to dedicate a win to Barden.

Must agree with paz's post. Yes to a draw. But if the team can come away with a win, as been said, it is dedicated to JON. It will be interesting how Matt will name the team possibly bringing in squad players to cover.

Well, we’ve been totally spoilt by this group of players and management for more than a couple of seasons. Now is the time for us to show some loyalty, patience and support and get properly behind them. As mentioned in Tony’s pre match interview with Matt it’s easy to support when the going is good. Now is the time to show we are different to other teams who get on players backs after a couple of poor games.
I’m optimistic. Our home form is great and would have continued against Salford without the unnecessary sending off (which has likely impacted our edge upfront in subsequent games). We still have enough players to put a very competitive side out. Biggest selection issues I guess on who plays midfield with Eastmond and who plays upfront - likely Omar and one other. Could be Lovatt in the centre of midfield or perhaps Milsom if Hart can start left back. Other than those 2 spots if Randall is back we are essentially at full strength (ignoring Goodliffe’s long termer).
I’d take a draw now to put a stop to the losses run but hope for better. We’ve got a reasonable record against Tranmere I think.

Must agree with Gareth's first paragraph. Let's really get behind the team tomorrow.

The motto tomorrow has to be 'win this for Jon'.
