First time I remember our real result actually being better than Sol's prediction!

Nice to get another away win, we are liking the derby matches this season. Quick turnaround for Gillingham, win that and we suddenly have some momentum in an upwards direction. Well done to the team and management, working miracles again 👍

Makes a change Dave after last years disgrace. Probably my least enjoyable away day experience ever. Seems like they’ve listened to the complaints. Also no/little Police outside the ground to deal with the Crawley scrotes that wanted to fight. Because of this I will not be going. If the match day experience has improved then I will consider going next year what an idiot you sound like. Will you be donating to the policeman's ball instead of attending this? Would you like some bitter to go with your irony?

Maybe the least tense Christmas derby I can remember. And I’ve seen a few ! I timed Crawley’s first shot at 67 minutes.

A good 3 points on the road although i would say that we made hard work of it against a poor Crawley side. Donovan was unable to start after being named in the starting line up and Josh started for us up front. He took a while to get used to the role but proved a threat in the second half when goals from Joe Kizzi and a penalty from Rob were enough to secure the win despite a consolidation goal from Crawley at the end. Starting to look up the table now rather than how the bottom teams are faring. If we can secure a victory against basement side Gillingham on Thursday we would be full of confidence for our game against AFC a few days later !

Good result that to day. Kizzi and Eeatmond had good games with Kizzi wining every thing at the back and Eastmond controlling midfield. They only frustrating thing is their late goal, scored in injury time again, we really must cut them out. Over all a good win, now two home games, so onwards and upwards. ⚽️⚽️⚽️ I think that is the 7th goal Sutton have conceded after subbing off Omar late in a game. When Omar is on the field some clearances out of defence do not come straight back again. Whoever replaces him is either not intended to be the lone man up-field, or cannot do the job as well. John Davies is listed as the club's analyst, so this is something for him to check.

A good win on the road for us yesterday though as others have said Crawley were really poor - I feel for them and what could lie ahead for that club with their crypto owners (fans turning already).
One poster on their forum claims Sutton are having a rotten season which I thinks a bit harsh - we’ve been hamstrung by injuries to really key players - they’re mostly all back now and I foresee a better second half of the season for sure. We’re now only 6 points off the play-off places and 14 points clear of the bottom two.

What an awful side Crawley were. Even when we totally gifted them a chance in the first half (thanks to Kizzi and Rose not talking to each other), the "20 goals a season" Telford couldn't do anything with it. I'm surprised they even scored.
MoM for me was Omar. He had a superb game. Everything dangerous came from him and nearly scored a spectacular goal which fortunately for us Kizzi knocked in.
That's the halfway point in the season. 29 points, bearing in mind the circumstances, is a pretty good return. If we repeat that in the 2nd half of the season, that would have got us 13/14th at the end of the season.
Just for reference, we were on 39 points last season and we ended up on 76. If we do have an upturn (and I believe we will) we're going to end the season in the top half of the table, and I'd be very very happy with that.

I'm glad there is clear evidence of an example of how terrible Crawley were!
