Looks even worse for them today with statements coming out. Reckon they’ve gone. Who would want to manage them now with the owner popping up in the dug out and them playing reserves in a league game to have a proper look at them!!

From a club finance perspective local derbies are good news.
And from a personal perspective I could walk to their ground 😃

The Met Police have clearly looked at our long history of occasional arguments with Kingstonian and decided we have a well organised firm which needs keeping tabs on everytime we leave London. Which of course is utter nonsense, which as the norm is your m.o. Every football league club has dedicated police officers that go to every game of that club. Hence why you see some at away games. Or are we now not a football league club? You really are in no position whatsoever to call anyone else an idiot. No surprise to see you toadying up to Old Bill. I'm sure you're more than willing go tell Sir if you see fellow fans doing anything that looks remotely fun.

If I were to run into any sort of trouble at an away match, I'd rather be able to approach the familiar faces of officers who know us well and we've built up a relationship with (and can have a laugh with sometimes) than a complete stranger who may or may not give a toss about my welfare. Fair dues. My experiences with Tottenham have coloured my opinion against them too much to do this, more power to anyone able to do this. I like seeing familiar faces stewarding.

But as I've already stated, you are in no position to call anyone else an idiot.

But the stewards are provided by the away clubs so none of them would be familiar faces, whereas the police travelling with us would be. I'm sure by now you have researched the point and realised that this happened in National League as well, each club has own dedicated officers (some even run social media accounts for the purpose). Keep an eye (or ear) out as I hope to get one or two of them on the podcast in the near future - PM any questions you might have for them.

My favourite line in the whole article: "The opposition match announcer tweeted: “Tonight’s highlight was Johnson (the co-owner) asking the fourth official at half-time how subs work. Whilst sat on the bench. Good luck, Crawley fans.” Johnson did not attend the next match at Newport."

I was expecting that to get weird. But not quite as weird as it got.
Poor fans.

What a bizarre way for a professional football club to operate. It only serves to accentuate just how fortunate we are at Sutton United to be at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Crypto is cryptic in that it is speculative as it ain’t real and in the long run the end product is ruin, so goodbye Crawley?

I believe there were strong rumours that these "crypto bros" had interest in both us and Bradford City at least. If they did approach both clubs, this is yet another example of what superb governance we have at the club (and Bradford).
Brisfitboy is totally correct in his description. Crypto is nothing but a ponzi scheme and on a personal level, I'd always strongly advise any individual to keep away from it as much as possible.

For the sake of accuracy, the Crawley owners business is NFT not crypto. Which is certainly related, and most probably worse. Check Wagmi United twitter page - they seem 12 year olds with (questionable) graphics skills.
