Someone who resent the heavy handed police presence we're seeing. Even bacon following us up North now FFS. That makes absolutely no sense to me. (FFS!) As someone who often disagrees with you, I wholeheartedly don't this time. That's just utter word salad from "dundas".

The Met Police have clearly looked at our long history of occasional arguments with Kingstonian and decided we have a well organised firm which needs keeping tabs on everytime we leave London.

The Met Police have clearly looked at our long history of occasional arguments with Kingstonian and decided we have a well organised firm which needs keeping tabs on everytime we leave London. Which of course is utter nonsense, which as the norm is your m.o. Every football league club has dedicated police officers that go to every game of that club. Hence why you see some at away games. Or are we now not a football league club? You really are in no position whatsoever to call anyone else an idiot.

If I were to run into any sort of trouble at an away match, I'd rather be able to approach the familiar faces of officers who know us well and we've built up a relationship with (and can have a laugh with sometimes) than a complete stranger who may or may not give a toss about my welfare.

Didn’t last long www.crawleytownfc.com/news/2022/december/club-statement--matthew-etherington--simon-davies/Crawley Town Football can confirm that First-Team Manager Matthew Etherington and Assistant Manager Simon Davies have left their roles at Crawley Town Football Club with immediate effect. Director of Football and interim CEO Chris Galley said: “It has become clear to all involved parties that this partnership is not the right fit to carry the club forward and achieve our goals. As a result, we have mutually decided to move in a different direction. We wish Matty and Simon well in their future endeavours.” The club will appoint a new permanent manager as soon as possible.

Looks like a resignation job to me. Probably not liking Nichols being sold to Gillingham. Wonder what’s next. Always relied on being financed by the owner previously, do these current owners want to put in similar sums or more? Going to be tricky finding a new manager and investment in the team in January without throwing a lot of cash at it, and even then time is against. I wouldn’t be sorry seeing them drop.

I have no love for Crawley, but would rather keep the local clubs in L2.

So does every other club in the EFL have a history of disagreements with Kingstonian too Most of them have probably never heard of Kingstonian or even encountered them.

It would be sad to lose Crawley out of our division personally. I have an affinity for a local club and its hard to compete in the Football league as we well know. Yes they had a takeover at the start of the season and i believe all their debts were paid off but the Company that bought them were dealing in crypto currencies and they are not doing too well. Prior to that their big backers left years ago.
