It's clear that Colchester and Gillingham are spending their way out of trouble. Hartlepool look as if they're panic buying.
Walsall have made some good signings.
I'm pretty satisfied with our transfer business.

Hartlepool have bought an entire team - that generally doesn't have an immediate effect or work at all - look at how long it took Stockport to bed in this season and forest in the PL.

What makes this better is that we've not lost any of those players who could have been looked at by L1 and championship sides. That bit is often overlooked, and barring injuries (which lets face it is unlikely to be as bad as the first half of the season) we're in a very good place.

Lewis Ward apparently resigning for Swindon- because of the two club rule the only team he can play for again this season but he will still be a no 2.

I don't think he was either. Aside from a bit of a flap at Salford, I can't recall where he was the difference between a defeat and a draw, or a draw or a win. Even at Salford he couldn't take the blame for their first goal. |
