In common with many "traditional" pro clubs, Barrow have (or certainly had) a London branch to their supporters' club. As the capital is such a focal point for jobs it attracts workers from all parts of the country, which can have an influence on football in that most clubs have a number of fans already in the London area.
In contrast, SUFSC does not yet have a Barrow branch.

I only saw brief highlights but it looked like a decent game, plenty of saves, hitting of woodwork etc.Your boys seemed a bit unlucky albeit against ten men for an hour or so.A big improvement on the 9-0 from around this time two years ago! Not sure if you are old enough to remember this one but i certainly am. Thanks Billy. Not seen that before as I am a relative newcomer to the Saints after moving a few years ago. The highlights predate me by a year but it's nice to see stuff like that. I thought they were unlucky as well but it's nice to see them go about their business and put a shift in which wasn't necessarily the case a few months back - something it would be difficult to accuse Sutton of. I don't think the 4th Southampton goal is shown on that report.Incredibly,it was also a header by Ron Davies from a John Sydenham cross!

Earlier this season................ Sutton United 1 Barrow 0 Attendance: 2,276 (126 away)Your point being? Or is it as usual, you don't have one? To be posting comments about Barrow vs Sutton but only answering questions about Man Utd. vs Southampton? Variations on this theme tbc. Doubtless.

Well done to all those who went to Barrow to support the team ! But I would go three hundred miles And I would go three hundred more Just to be the fan who went 600 miles To watch a 0-0 draw I've got the utmost respect for our loyal away support. I haven't even been to Crawley or Wimbledon this season. Life is forever getting in the way.
