On to the last 9 games now and a tricky tie at Mansfield who are also looking to get into the playoffs. Our record so far has been good against them and they will have had a shorter break after playing Grimsby on Wednesday.
Travelling up there for this one for my first visit and safe travels to all others making the trip.

We have an 100% record against Mansfield so far (three wins out of three) and I think we'd need to continue that run to revive any realistic hope of finishing in a play-off place.
This fixture pits 8th against 9th in the league table, 12th against 3rd in the (six-game) form table. They have a few players missing through injury or suspension, but Matt, in his pre-match interview, indicated that we have one or two players doubtful for this game after picking up knocks in training.
Pre-match I daresay there will be fans of both clubs drinking in the Railway Inn in Station Street. As well as being close to the station, it's less than ten minutes on foot from the ground. This is an excellent community pub serving food plus a good range of beers and ciders.

With my negative hat on - reading between the lines a few names could be missing so perhaps we may be a little under strength todays- hope I'm wrong

You must know something as none of them are playing. Matt referred to a few injuries/sickness in his pre match interview.

Hilarious duo on commentary for them. Want a yellow for every foul. Only really Beautyman one probably was one.

I am sorry but these two commentators on ifollow (I say commentators in the most loose sense) are the most incompetent individuals I have had to listen too. I am sorry but the second half I shall listen to music and switch them off.

A decent away point - but after no goals scored in our last three games, the play offs are looking an increasingly remote possibility. Have to be content though with where we are after a difficult season. Hartlepool who came up to the EFL with us two years ago would, I'm sure, be delighted to be ninth on 56 points with 8 games to go - as in spite of being unbeaten in their last 5 matches, they are looking increasingly likely to return to the National League.

Considering the injuries we had, that’s a good point. We could have won it with two good chances right at the start of the second half. Mansfield did not ofer much, so a point is a good point. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Thought they were there for the taking really but we’ve gone off the boil in an attacking sense recently. Defended well though and in normal times it’s a good point. Felt we rather needed more though and play offs looking beyond us. Think next week is a must win to keep an interest with a tough run of 4 games versus sides in top 7 thereafter. No doubt we’ll keep trying if nothing else!

Poor game between two sides who were each missing some key players. No Eastmond, Angol or Dennis for us. Same result as at Barrow, but this was a different sort of match; two weeks ago, defences thwarted attacking threats, whereas today neither side was able to find much attacking rhythm. Even throwing on Dundo for the last ten minutes failed to lift us!
On today's evidence, neither of these teams is play-off material.
