Probably need to add Ollie Khinda to that squad - arguably our best performer in pre-season so far. Jack Taylor too.. won’t play but featured in last two friendlies but most definitely a star in the future. Unfortunately Ollie was out of his depth on Tuesday. Sutton looked better with Kizzi at right back in the second half. Agree, but maybe it just shows the importance of the defence being a unit, as he was comfortable against Havant and gave a motm performance against Reading, and didn’t look overly out of place against Millwall. Confidence in, and more proactive advice and direction from, the centre backs in those matches was possibly the big difference? |

Going by what a lot of Shrewsbury fans are saying, they were expecting him to be a regular for them this season and are worried, but presume they must be about to make a good signing themselves to replace him.. Unless I am mistaken this is his last year under contract with them so perhaps he wants to get it out if the way so he can be a free agent. Would be nice if we could pinch him full time come Xmas. Depending on his form of course. |

They’ve also been saying he’s looked sharp pre season so hopefully ready to get straight into it. In paper another good signing and certainly options developing in attacking areas for Matt et al.

This will see us one below the limit. That is also including Dundas as a registered player. I still do not know what a homegrown player is, it seems to be a player who is registered with us, or even another club? which would mean pretty much every player in the league?? |
