First half there was a delay approaching five minutes when the keepers were swapped after the red card. It’s the ten minutes in the second half that seemed less realistic

Two yellows = red is fine too. We don't need to over complicate. I agree with everything you say apart from this - Where is the over complication? You, obviously, have never had to work with the FA's computer systems. There would be no deterrent from committing a second offence if you were to just receive another yellow but stay on. Sorry, doesn't work.

The different opinions people are expressing about the length of time added on for the first and for the second halves illustrates how subjective this can become.
I had no sense of wrongness about the time added on to the first half as the keeper swop over seemed, to me, to take a ridiclously long time and was (probably) a ploy to allow the County players to calm down a little and slow up the taking of our free kick. In the second half I couldn't trace the amount of extra time to anything much. But, I assume I was wrong in that.

It's as much a reflection of those not being "properly" accounted for under the previous system I suspect as actual "injury" time.

The ref will retain the right to show a red for persistent infringements, just not constrained to 'two strikes and you're out'.

Surely too open to inconsistency.
Bugiel gets 2 yellows for AFC = instant dismissal Wrexham player gets 2 yellows and told to watch himself.

It’s an illustrative example. AFC haven’t played Wrexham

Actually I think it was 5 substitution stoppages - I went off the times - but reminding myself of the rules each team can only use 3 occasions in the game to do those (and Notts County used one up in the first half - for some reason or another). Regardless that's 9 stoppages that now need to be properly accounted for each of which probably took approaching a minute.

I think the shirt thing was made a booking only when players started having slogans etc on t-shirts and FIFA didn't like it. Or maybe my memory is muddled....again.

When I first watched the club, evening games used to kick off at 7.30. Over recent years it was moved to 7.45 for some reason. Is there a logical one?
Can we not go back to 7.30 kick offs if stoppage time can mean games not finishing to about 10pm?

Can we not go back to 7.30 kick offs if stoppage time can mean games not finishing to about 10pm? Perhaps a later work finish time became more of the norm? So, more people finishing at 6pm and less at 5pm? In any event, I think that's a question for the EFL. Not the club. We can't go unilateral on that.

6 minutes first half this evening (v Cambridge) seemed excessive, the goal celebrations were pretty short-lived.
11 minutes second half more understandable with many substitutions.
