Does it matter?! It’s sorted now I’d say yes it does a) did we just make a mistake and miss a payment b) are we that hand to mouth that we couldn’t afford to pay whatever was due. I personally still think a statement should be made, or at the very least shareholders should be informed.

I think you are on your own there. Rob made things very clear in his post on Wed.

I think either a statement or a more private notification to shareholders would be good practice.
If the company that I am a shareholder in had defaulted on a HMRC payment deadline I would, while not assuming the worst, feel entitled to know the circumstances.
Of course I would.

I agree with the recent posters, shareholders should have some clarity ,in addition all the other companies I hold shares in provide notice of election/ appointments of new board members some even provide me a vote on the appointment. The club have not even acknowledged nor denied the story reported on here that a new board member has been appointed.

I,also agree with previous posters. There should at least a statement from the club. Regarding a shareholders meeting. No Chance. I have been asking for a shareholders meeting on several occasions, asking several board members and our SLO starting last season, but no response.

Thanks Andy. Is that an ordinary agm? and not a shareholders meeting as been requested. Can you tell me when the last shareholders meeting was held. All AGMs are "ordinary". Hence the name, Annual General Meeting.

As a shareholder of many years I don't recall receiving any notice of a shareholders AGM in 2021 nor 2022 does anyone recall the dates they were held on? and the venue? The only gatherings I recall in this period are meet the manager events

I believe there is no requirement now to hold an AGM.

To be fair that's what I thought but others suggesting one was held annually I doubted myself.
