I for one am quite happy. We've made the third round of the F.A. Cup and the club have earned a minimum of £108,000 in prize money. This match at Plymouth can be considered a free hit. The principal objective is to avoid the drop and we've now only lost one game in the last eight. Exactly - I was surprised at how much negativity there was in this thread! Personally I was just thinking thank god it wasn't Gillingham away 😂

If we lose; so what? Concentrate on the league. Which, financially, is of far greater lonf term importance to us.

Not sure where else to put this but does anyone know why the Wimbledon game on Boxing Day has disappeared from the online ticket shop ? And also gone from AFC's website as well !

Hi Android, I've just looked....on my screen, it says "Not on Sale", as does the Gillingham game.....this is most likely because the Football Club hasn't, as yet, received the "physical tickets" from either of the Clubs

AFC Wimbledon tickets being loaded on to system today was probably the reason .... those not seeing the club's X tweet earlier that the AFC Wimbledon away tickets available to SUFC season ticket holders and half-season ticket holders from 9am tomorrow; any tickets not taken up by season ticket holders will be released and go on general sale 9am Friday 8th December
Reminder for those that are wanting to purchase tickets for Stockport, Mansfield, AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham fixtures to order early enough to guarantee delivery when ordering posted match tickets to UK addresses - we had some instances where tickets were posted a week before the Charlton fixture but not turning up until the day after the fixture

By January better players from lower or similar levels to our own have even chance of being cup tied . Well at least Dion is now cup tied in case they asked for him back early.

For those looking in advance, don't presume that the game will be 3pm on 6th Jan.
Last season 5 games kicked off at 12.30 on FA Cup Saturday, 8 at 15.00, 4 at 17.30 and only 3 of those were on UK TV.
So only 8 out of 32 games kicked off at the normal FA cup Saturday time. As it's very unlikely that we'll be picked as a TV game in the UK, I doubt very much we'll be on the Friday night or the Monday.

In my opinion this is what has killed the FA Cup more than anything else. Yes sure have a few televised games, BUT please just play every other match at 3pm on a Saturday, otherwise it all becomes quite meaningless.

I've little doubt that Sutton, Plymouth and the FA will be in contact with each other this week to determine kick-off time. The club will make an announcement as soon as it's been fixed.
We can't rule out the game being played on the Sunday. A 12.30 kick-off on the Saturday might suit Sutton, as the team would probably travel down the day before anyway, and could then return after the game and get back to London at a civilised hour.
