Really sorry, I am sure the rest of the world (chiefly everyone on Amber Planet) knows this and nothing to do with our 3rd round draw, but I only found it out yesterday and the thought of it made me more than slightly queasy.... Eastleigh and Boreham Wood have been drawn against each other in the first round of the FA Cup for the past THREE consecutive seasons..... As a Sutton supporter that's like the worst possible outcome of "Nightmare on Elm Street" meets "Groundhog Day!"

Actually quite looking forward to the trip - somewhere new and will be a good day out if nothing more. Might have this incorrect but didn’t we face Plymouth in the Youth Cup some years back?

Our Academy should have played them in the league cup last Saturday but it was postponed, now the 16th

Yeah, that's even worse than our little Notts County/Hereford run, or even going out to Bromley every eight years 😂

Shocking selections for the FA Cup 3rd round TV picks. Mainly Premiership teams playing each other or Championship teams. No lower level teams !

I'd have thought Peterborough v Leeds would make a great televised match. But it's not been selected.

Shrewsbury v Wrexham has something of a local flavour to it, so might actually have been a decent pick. Certainly more interesting than Wrexham v Yeovil in the last round!
