Good resilience after going a goal down. We’re on the bottom again.

Glass half-full v glass half-empty
They dropped two points.
It’s about what we do.

To be fair, if we are to get out of this, its all about us and our form. We need a couple wins on the trot and to try and create an unbeaten run. If we cant do that, we cant stay up.

I think Mark has covered this previously! But the weather forecast update for Tuesday is not good. Strong winds and lots of rain ☔ With the frost coming out of the ground plus the rain over the next couple of days, the pitch could be very heavy. Dare I say it, possibly water logged? Will there be an early inspection?

Looks like wing backs this evening. 2 starting debutants.

A precious point. Well done, all.
Looking at the form table, I'm beginning to think that we might do this.

Another solid showing with some good football at times. I will take a 1-1 against a challenging side away, especially having lost our centre backs, Hopefully its nothing too bad.

Good battling point against a gale 2nd half. Got to find some winning momentum soon but to be fair Mansfield was a tough one to hope for it starting there. Hope Goodliffe cleared for Saturday. Thought the ref had a good game given the conditions, not often we can say that so thought I would!

Craig Armstrong, a former Mansfield defender, disagrees about the referee on the BBC Live Text. Apparently he had a shocker.

Tbh, Armstrong sounds like anyone else from Mansfield based on tonight and previous visits.
In the end their defence messed up and they went 1 0 down. They should be moaning at that.
As said, Quinn should have gone for a second yellow.
A real dogged performance from U's. Probably bit unfortunate the way we conceded but Mansfield certainly deserved something out of it. They get the ball down well and play.
The new guys did well and I thought Jacko had his best game ina Sutton shirt .
Great point in very difficult conditions.

I think that any side in the league going to Mansfield on a Tuesday night would be pleased with a 1-1 draw at a very tough place to go.
The work rate was high, the effort was there, its now down to getting wins against lesser sides and those around us.
The question is how much of your own money would you put on us going down at 4/7 ?
