Following tough fixtures against some of the league's high flyers (and Birmingham) we embark on a mini-run of 4 games, starting with Maidenhead tomorrow, giving us an excellent opportunity to put points on the board by the end of the month before a break for the Trophy. I'll be (at least) pretty happy with a return of more than 5 points whilst fewer than 5 will have me looking down rather than up the table.
It'll be interesting to see how Steve approaches the game, as discussed in Mike's latest podcast, albeit he's restricted by our lengthening injury list. By my reckoning, at least Agbaje, Simper, Jackson, Harris and Ransom are all at best doubtful although I think I read Wadham has been recalled to boost the squad.

devastating news about Harris being out for the season - one of the best, if not THE best player I've seen turn out for Sutton this season. Looks like a tough run to the end of the year. Let's hope we can do some decent business in January to bolster the squad.

In this league no need to wait.

I’ve got 2 spare guest tickets, standing, for today, friend had to work short notice, so if anyone hasn’t got their tickets yet and would like to take them for free, give me your email address and I’ll send them to you. Both on the same mail so can’t split them I’m afraid.

Some of the best football this season in the first half. Not quite so good in the second. Still, great win and 3 more points.

Quick and crisp passing to feet and really on the front foot for most of the 1st half and hoped we would have more than one goal. Maidenhead improved in the 2nd half although not sure they could be worse than the 1st half tbh. Overall a pleasure to watch this game and another 3 points on the board. Well done all !

Just not enough threat up front apart from the always busy Coley on the wing. Should have been a couple ahead by half time instead it got a little edgy near the end of the game when they had a few corners. Morison's reluctance to try shake things up by making subs is frustrating and he seems to spend most of every game in the face of the fourth official. Still a valuable three points.

I was just about to post something very similar! Really impressed with our passing, movement, flicks and touches in the middle of the park, especially in the first half. Just a pity we couldn't quite maintain that quality in and around the visitors' penalty area to put the game to bed. Improving our crossing would be a help. Maidenhead only came to life after we scored but we kept our shape well and the defence was very solid game to give us a rare clean sheet. I've not seen Barbrook play better and he richly deserved his goal.

Badly missing a striker who gets himself in the right position to score goals. Should have been a lot more than 1-0.
