Great stuff and yes I laughed at that too Taz. How did Durham not lose? Amazing!

An unfortunate slip by the (season-long) impressive AJ (os; your observations re his display today were harsh in the extreme) Not intended to be harsh just honest, and as I would have AJ down as our player of the season so far and I am constantly singing his praises I thought his performance was way below his normal impeccable standard. Uncharacteristically he was caught in possession and dispossessed several times in the first half, his distribution was poor all afternoon and was woefully caught out of position with the ball over the top of him at the end which Kev rescued us from. Praise where its due and AJ gets that because he sets such consistently high standards, see I have given my player of the season (so far) away to you in my defence AJ took a knock on the head very early on. Maybe that was why he sometimes fell below his awesome standard.

Was it that boring for you Co Sec, that you had to count the crowd? What percentage wore blue socks? I was watching Basingstoke on the last Saturday before Xmas ,when they were in the Ryman second div (Before BSS and BSN days). It was cold and boring and I thought I would count the very sparse crowd, as I was in their big stand so could see everybody. I got to 100 and then a bloke on a bicycle started racing up and down the far side followed by loads of kids. I had counted him 3 times before I realised so gave it up as a bad idea. No dogs though just a few Hampshire ladeez ;D

For the remarkable moment where Durham got their first points of the season. Superb stuff. If it's running slow I suggest switching HD OFF which is on the right of the video player: I watched it and am confused. Maybe the sound and the Lancastrian commentator was hard to hear at times but did the referee overrule the lino for the off-side goal?

Not a clue Filbert. I rewatched that bit a couple of times before giving it up!
Nice to see former Oldham winger Carlos Roca still playing though.....

AJ took a knock on the head very early on. Maybe that was why he sometimes fell below his awesome standard. I remember now, I knew there must have been a reason for it somewhere all is forgiven AJ you can go back to being perfect again now ;D

Nice also to see a few new folk donning the amber and chocolate scarves on away terraces. Keep winning and there'll be more. I'm a new folk (been going since last May) but I missed the last two homers because of an operation - I CANT WAIT TILL SATURDAY AGAINST BOGNOR UP THE Us! Can we have old-fashioned bar scarves at all - nice choc/amber ones? Like that plum at Man City wears?

They would be great, but after a new stock of home ones (slightly new design - 'Pride of Surrey') and the ladies ones, I'm not sure they'd do another run of a new design. I'd love a choccy/amber 'old school' bar scarf, though.

Any news on the shirts - are they to be replaced in the summer and can fans have a say in design? (As in the thread on this forum)

Changing design every season is unnecessary and stinks of the money-grabbing PL.

I here there are new style collage type scarfs in the offing. These are reversible I believe, home one side away the other, or something like that.
I'm sure if enough people spoke to Alison in the club shop and perhaps put down a deposit, I'm sure something would be arranged.
The more expensive bit of any such memorabilia I understand is reproduction of the club badge, but as this sounds like it's not required supply maybe easier.
As I say, speak to Alison.

Supporters Trust got some new scarves made up as part of the order for the 'pink' limited edition for the ladies day. Those have been passed to Alison I believe and are in the club shop.
I think there might be some of the old style 'bar' scarves you so crave as well Vern. Not 100% sure if they've arrived yet though. Will see what I can find out....
