When that goal went in, I was watching this (in real life rather than on Youtube!)

Looks like a lot of results are going out way - Hornchurch losing to Hosham, Borehamwood stuggling against Waltham Abbey (i front of 80 people!) and of course the great escape of margate is still on...

All of a sudden out of nowhere, Tonbridge are knocking on the playoffs door! Last 8 games, they have won 7!

A good game on the whole, though I was alarmed at the lack of stewards.

Professional performance, bit nervy at the end but Harrow came to play football rather than park the bus in front of goal, looking dangerous going forward.
Well deserved victory but missed chances to make victory a formality were missed on a few occasions and we've got to be more lethal in front of goal.
Danny Philips man of the match surprised me as i had a few players ahead of him for MOM, Quarm composed as ever, Taylor battled and chased down until he went off with possible hip injury and Scriv made some important saves also. Perks and JG pretty solid at centre back also.
Big 3 points as one of our game in hand on a few sides around us and momentum to push us onto Hendon who won also tnight at home to Bognor.

3 big points tonight makes us knocking at the playoff door and although we did make hard work of it again we were well worth the win. We now have the best defensive record in the league and the our goal difference is second only to Dartford so whatever Billy says we must be doing something right?
Harrow do like the hoof ball and even without AJ we defended brilliantly and when we failed to do that KS was alert to make a couple of fine saves. For Andy's benefit we should have been 1 up on about 20mins when a goal bound shot was touched on the line by AJ2 who was immediately given offside. Charlie took his goal from a ever tightening angel once he went the long way around their keeper well. We still need to work on that final ball but the work rate was high all game as was the determination to win and improving pitches will help us.
As for the officials well probably the worst I have seen this season and that is saying something, allowing 2 of the most blatant fouls, a push and a good old fashion sandwich to go without so much as a glance back? The ref failed to control the game which threatened to get out of hand at one stage but good to see we were big enough to just get on with the job of winning. I won't go on but that push will go down as one of the worst referring decisions I have ever seen.
Not sure on Man of the Match Charlie did well and always looks a menace and I like Perkins who had another good game.
WE ARE GOING UP!
One for Frakey: 14 games unbeaten when was the last time we managed that?

This was one of those matches in which we should just be grateful for the three points! It was a more open game than most we've seen lately, with both sides finding plenty of space going forward but neither exploiting it very well. It was Charlie Taylor's pace that got us the goal as he took advantage of a helpful bounce to run clear of Harrow's high line. (Unlike OS, I didn't spot the assist from an angel! ;D )
Harrow looked well capable of getting a goal themselves, so we were hanging on a bit in the second half.
We're now unbeaten in thirteen league games, which is pretty impressive, just a point behind Kingstonian (with a game in hand) and with a nice six point gap between us and fourth place. The matches are proving rather a grind at this stage of the season, but as long as we keep picking up points from them (three here, one there) we'll stay comfortably on course.
