Two great goals by Traynor.Goalscorers are worth their weight in gold , it's a pity Sutton elect to play without one.
When he (Traynor) scored with the last kick of the game a few weeks ago i had a feeling they would be back to haunt us.

Just got back from the game so excuse me if ive got the hump!! we dont seem up for these games, I was expecting the players to come out wound up ready to go, We let a goal in after 7 mins when we should of dealt with it , Then towards the end of the first half we started looking really good putting it on the deck and had kingstonian rattled instead of hitting long for duku to head away.
We then score two, Perkins with a top draw header, haltime blows and i expect the players to come out and go for it instead kingstonian push Matt gray forward and we are all over the shop, Bobby tranor gets two chances in a game and smashes both goals away and they were really top quality finishes.
Please can we get a striker for next season that scores the amount this guy does what a player, I think i read somewhere Dos said if we dont win the playoffs he will give us a team that will win the league next year, Please can we make sure we do that because i dont think we have the stomach for the playoffs.
On whole a good season but i would love us to start on the right foot and get a run going like dartford staines etc nest year,

1. Can someone please explain what happened at half time? We seemed well in control at half time but in the second we rarely threatened their goal. Did K's make a tactical switch?
2. It just proves what a hard league this is to get out off. Only the champs are automatically promoted and then we have the play offs. Please don't say there will be a well funded team next year

They did make a tactical switch. Pretty sure they went wing backs from 442. No excuse though.

Good knows what happened half time its like we thought it was done and dusted - K's pushed three up - Total crap 2nd half.
In my view Joseph should started when we ran at them they were all over the place towards the end of the first half,.
Its seems like we thought it was a done deal at half time and even maybe before the game, not good enough lads for a semi playoff, all that hard work and we come out like that after half time.
mckimm is a great coach and great for the club but his playing days are behind him, Watts also top guy but i cant see what he can gives us we need a striker that bags goals he done nothing when he came on.

Well they say football is a game of two halves dont they. Thought we played really well in last 25 mins of first half after a jittery start. Phillips was immense and caused them problems everytime he got the ball. We could have been 3-1 up at h/t
Then, Ks tightened up, changed formation and we never got a sniff - how many chances did we create in second half?
In fact both our goals were from set pieces, did we create anything of note from open play?
Traynor did put away two great goals, but second one poor defending, and as for first goal well words fail.
Overall I thought Ks deserved to win, they were obviously the more physical side and looked to have more energy in second half. The team talk must have been great as they closed us down, hassled and fought for everything.
We resorted to long ball having passed them off the pitch forst half!
Agree that we NEED a striker who will socre 20+ goals and I know they are hard to come by but for 2 seasons now we have suffered without one
Very disappointing, esp having been very worthy of the lead at h/t

I think Pouton and Watts may not have much more left. Would think Pouts may have had enough of the injuries. McKimm will probably carry on as coach with limited playing time next year. Watts will probably want to carry on having spent the last 2 years getting back to fitness.

Phillips was great. We should have kept BWG on I feel, as he is always dangerous. Also Billy Hawes on for KES as BH adds a whole-pitch dimension, as well as the obvious throw-ins.
Quarmie was quite flat but I'm glad he came over first to clap the fans.
I think when we have Jase and Perkins playing together they both expect the other one to be going first - Ks were first to practically every ball and made better snap decisions.
The linesman on the Cemetery side 2nd half was shockingly bad.

I can't believe this has happened to be honest. Firstly congratulations to Kingstonian for their victory. They deserved it fully. And the main reason for this is because we were possibly the most shocking in the 2nd half I think I have ever seen under Dos. We threw it away from the point where they got their equalised, and even players who thrive on such pressures we just toilet. I'm usually very supportive of us, but there can be no excuse for that - we can't blame tiredness or lack of quality. We were just not up for it, and this was across the board I have to say.
If it was a hard fought game like in the first half and lost I'd accept that, but we spent most of the 2nd half hoofing the ball in the air - when we played football on the deck, Ks couldnt compete with us, but we point blankly refused to do this. Our defence, which has served us well all season, were clearly at fault for their first goal, and we allowed them far too much space for the rest. The midfield just collapsed in the 2nd half and the front line didn't have much bite to it at all.
I'll accept this if this means we will be promoted as champions next season, but tonight should never have happened. Im sure Dos is as disappointed as anyone, and this is a lot more disappointing than last year. Lets have the post mortem and try and finish the season on a high next Tuesday

of course being a well funded team in August is not the same as being a well funded team in April

Absolutely gutted. The second half was just a disaster. Passing was poor, slower to the ball most of the time and we just never got going.
Dont know what else to say really except roll on the cup final next Tuesday.

We were excellent in the first half and we deserved to be well ahead and it was clear that K's had to change something as they were looking at a mauling for a while. Second half we just never came out, we did not compete and they closed us down early and got hold of the midfield helped I must say by some very lenient officiating which probably had a impact on the final result. You cannot concede 4 in any match and expect to win and if you give good strikers space they will bury you just like Messi did Arsenal, but equally if you deny them it like so many bread and butter Ryman sides have managed recently to do to Traynor he won't hurt you. K's when up against in the 1st half hung in there, when it was our turn to do the same we went AWOL and no striker in the world would have turned that around. At HT we should have changed the system to match theirs and looked for the counter, we were naive and far to open at the back and desperately lacked pace. K's got the rub of the green again which helped them but why Dos did not drop deeper in that 2nd and put someone on Traynor I will never know, it cost us the game.
You cannot fault the effort tonight or all season and next year we will win this damn league.
I AM SICK TO THE STOMACH TONIGHT BUT OUR DAY WILL COME WITH THIS TEAM AND THIS MANAGEMENT.
