Confirmed on our official site. Any chance of it being rearranged quickly for next Tuesday (5th)? We have no game then and I don't think Maidenhead have either.

Sounds like part of the Maidenhead pitch is submerged so I wouldn't bank on it being good to go by next tuesday with more rain forecast even if they could square the arrangements, with wind and rain on the map until the weekend this looks like it will run and run.

Meanwhile, Billericay vs. Eastbourne appears to be 'on' - we're not having much luck!

Well we have at least 2 games to fit in now, Maidenhead and SSC with only 3 spare tuesdays until the end of the season. If we dont get anything on for next tuesday any further SSC or postponed league matched means 3 a week.
We have very little chance of making the playoffs due to the amount of games we need to play and teams never chase down well in these situations. Our season has been effectively ruined!

Farnborough has also been passed fit for tonight. Woking's home game however hasn't. Yet amazingly Walton Casuals (who play at the Waterside stadium) is also on!!!

In all fairness, I think our ability to score goals (or lack of) and the fact that we've lost more than we've won when the weather didn't affect our fixtures has effectively ruined our season!

Our season can only be ruined by us not taking our chances, which up until now we have struggled to do. We should have one of the fittest sides in the league so 2 games a week which a lot of other teams will also have should be to our advantage. If we can take our chances and have a bit of luck with injuries I think we can easily prosper from this.

Andy does have a point the general lack of scoring has not helped us, we have to believe we would turn that corner. But even with that the task of a playoff spot with a small squad dwindles with every game missed. Newport came to us one year with a shed load of games to play in a short space of time and they simply run out of steam. Having said that if we go in to feb in the relegation zone and gain promotion in May I think its safe to say we will have a new record because I don't think that had been done before in any of the top 7 steps

The first priority must be to escape from the bottom three. Even with all those games in hand (7 over Staines, 6 over Hornchurch : nothing is guaranteed. The next aim would be to see if we can use all those midweek home games to our advantage. There can only be an outside chance of us making a late run into the play-offs. We're 14 points behind Chelmsford in fifth and we've only one game in hand over them. Then again, if we win all five of our games in hand over Dover, currently in fourth, we draw level with them on points. ;D

I think the Aleman has a good point. Extending to that I think that the combination of circumstances, both self-inflicted and out of our control will mean that it is very likely that this season will be a disappointment for the first time since Dos took over. But then again, none of the previous 4 have been.
We won't make the play offs. That's what I think. Too much to do, and to be honest (without seeing the new players) I don't think we have the squad this season to do it. Consolidation will be fine, going into mid table obscurity for this season alone, preparing for next. It's a shame because the way this season panned out at the start in terms of the quality of football that if we performed like we did last season, we'd be challenging for the title. The damage was done by not winning for all of August and September.
I would absolutely love everyone on here to say how wrong I am come end of April though!!
