Maidonian, I have to ask - why is the Maidenhead forum locked for viewing? For posting, I totally get, but for viewing?? You have to register as a Club member Supporter
Anyone on Pitchero can become a supporter of your club. They don't have access to any members only content, but can subscribe to your weekly roundup and post on public forums.

Thurrock vs. Canvey abandoned early into second half! Waterlogged pitch.
edit - going by twitter, seems as though second half didn't kick off following a deluge during the interval.

Jeez. Now they are saying heavy rain through to the end of the week and possible snow by the weekend. Trying hard here to find reasons to be cheerful.

Yes there are 2 days of heavy rain between us and Saturday, I just wonder if we could possible cover the worst effected areas of the pitch  Simply if our pitch is not playable now it won't be saturday unless the forcast goes out the windon. |

I'm no pitch expert but given the problem appears to be an underground spring this is unlikely to make any difference. Also given the slope of the ground water will most probably run under the covers. We are doomed! |
