Firstly lets hope Tom's injury doesn't turn out to be as serious as indicated on the OS. As for the game we lacked energy and drive up until they scored then we started to put a bit of pressure on and we at least created opportunities and made their keep work which is the 1st time in 3 matches. Even when we had our poor run earlier in the season we generally started matches on the front foot and went for the jugular and that was missing as it was on Tuesday again today. We do play some pretty football at times but we have dropped 8pts in a week to sides that just play basic football and defend as their 1st option. Our passing was awful at times often too short and then over hit causing ourselves all sorts of problems. I wonder if the training facilities are too good? They train on a superb surface all week then try and play the same on mud patches? We are looking a stretched in the squad, Rivs injured, Tom J out and SD yet to serve a suspension, although I don't think Tom L put a foot wrong in goal today. Another poor performance I thought came from the Sutton faithful, they offered no lift or encouragement to the side especially in the second half - very quiet indeed? In fact only finding their voices to chant 'w*nker' very loudly at the end of the match, which isn't really compatibles with hundreds of fun day kids. You can tell me off if you like

I love reading the analysis regarding tactics and formations in this place ! Virtually the only time there is any semblance of calm , assured play or order is when Telfer has the ball.
For the rest of the time the ball passes from one team to the other like a game of ping pong. That's when it's not being launched aimlessly up in the air or out of play.
This poster summed it up well a while back.........................
all the players chasing the ball round the field en masse, like we used to at school

Completely agree, very embarassing, and difficult to explain to the kids!

I would not have made such comment if I didn't continually shout encouragement to the team throughout the 1st and 2nd half - I always do. You lot were very quiet, and its not like you which is why I made the point. From where I stand you were flat and so were the team.

Two awful defeats in a week. We will end up exactly where we should be, mid table mediocrity. Rather than "Boost The Budget" how about "We need a striker who can score goals!" Come and see me at the next home game ! I'll be the fella selling raffle tickets and holding a bucket , and giving up my time to raise money for the club! Perhaps one should put ones money where ones mouth is....

In dire need of a goalscorer cannot see what PD sees in chris benjamin Raw talent perhaps? Or maybe we should stick to paying for proven goalscorers like Pacquette instead....

Internecine strife is the order of the day I see!
I'm still on for a perfect season, and I will be at Billericay on Tuesday, shouting my upmost in the best way I see fit, be it abuse or encouragement!

That was total toilet!!!!!!!!!
If you think someone can shout encouragement after being served that kind of turd well good luck to you. Personally I'm waiting for some commitment from the players before I start cheering again. Bloody hell it doesn't take much does it?
At least CB looked like he cared, unlike his replacement! Don't criticize someone who's trying when we bring on a bloody passenger in his place for christ's sake!!!!!!!!!
It might be fair so say I'm pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We look like a side who doesn't want to play anymore. End of!!!!!!!!!!!!
