Good I expect better at Ricay on Tuesday 12th man and all that Like f*ck I'm going to 'ricay. The "Sutton faithful" are considering their position on the matter. For the first time this season I did question going to a game, my son soon talked me into going on Tuesday

Thought their 7 was a very good player. Apparently came from a couple of levels lower with their manager!
We have made some personnel errors this year I think. Folkes shouldn't play again, too slow in the head and casual. We brought in Sinclair for a home grown midfield man who certainly is no better. Leroy has come back and is strolling around even when playing 20-30 minutes - not a great example. Playing for exs or not, not good enough. I remember him harassing defenders continually when he was first here. Play the left sided lad from the reserves instead, he'll be keen.
Apart from that we need to get some confidence back. We were better when Ottaway came on and gave us a target up front. Need to show a bit of fight and play those that want to be there. Tuesday is going to be a massive battle and quite frankly can anyone see us showing the balls to win? I hope the players and management believe. We still need points to avoid relegation.

I don't believe for one moment we are in a relegation battle and the team can certainly raise their game when they can be bothered to do so.I think it unfair to be overly critical of Benjamin or Folkes who are two youngsters stepping up to a higher level. It was a dire game to watch and i wont be bothering to travel to Billericay to watch more of the same. I could be very critical of several of the players out there yesterday but i'm sure Dos can see what i see.My man of the match yesterday was Simon Downer who was excellent at the back as usual. I don't know what game they were watching whoever gave it to Marvin Williams, but he certainly isn't a striker. It was only when Harry O came on that were were able to hold the ball up front and looked quite lively but by then the game was lost.
Plenty for Dos to ponder about for next season.

Agree re. Downer. Folkes is not up to it, I have seen enough to know that. Benjamin I certainly wouldn't dismiss, needs time. Him and Marvin together weren't going to work yesterday, especially given some of the service.

We were better when Ottaway came on and gave us a target up front. Need to show a bit of fight and play those that want to be there. That option has now gone as he along with Botang and Scriven has been released (To be confirmed). Unless players are coming in ...... poor timing considering current injuries and impending suspensions

Scriven was going to be cut at some point as Tom is decent and will be cheaper, no way they'd keep him as a top keeper on the bench - great service he provided, one of the best around and wish him luck wherever he goes next. Thought it would happen in the summer though. Boateng, no surprise, lacks consistency, drive, application and fails to read the game. 1 good game in 3 is not good enough.
Ottaway would surprise me. Interesting move, wonder if we have a player or 2 lined up?

Just as i thought we had sorted out the right full back position we release Boateng.Who will play there,Downer? Move him from the centre of defence leaves us with Stuart & Jordan. That will be a disaster & dont even think about playing Telfs there for 90 mins.

Think we're going to see a lot more of Telfs now with Downer suspension and Jordan out. Not sure what you saw in Boats, couldn't even make the team as our only right back!

We won a dozen corners yesterday, so the loss of Jodon was crucial, it also resulted in Dundas dropping into midfield. We see the best of Dundo when he is playing up front. It can be the little things that happen during a game that can change the result.
I don't often knock players on here but it is time to say goodbye to Leroy.

...to chant 'w*nker' very loudly at the end of the match, which isn't really compatibles with hundreds of fun day kids. You can tell me off if you like Totally and utterly agree, OS. I was ashamed and embarrassed, particularly as I'd brought a friend to her first Sutton match. Normally I'm proud to stand with the "Sutton faithful" as you put it, and I was up until then! Really no need for that sort of thing - it achieves NOTHING. I hope the side puts in a better performance on Tuesday, especially as I'm rushing back from Newcastle from the game....and have to get back up there the next morning!

I'm surprised that people who were ashamed and disappointed about it, are happy to type the word or quote it on a message board.
I'm disgusted that people think that is okay, anybody can sign up and read this.
The reaction to the no. 2 was over the top but unfortunately that came in response to his reaction and swearing at the "Sutton faithful" at the end of the game.
I'm actually intrigued to know who are the " Sutton faithful" as I would imagine OS would have included Sal but it seems it isn't her.

I was ashamed to be part of a group that were repeatedly chanting "wonker" in the presence of small children. I am not saying I think the word "wonker" is disgusting and shameful in itself - it's not as if I never use it myself - but I was uncomfortable with people shouting it repeatedly at someone, in front of a lot of children. Big difference between children witnessing adults doing that and children witnessing people saying they think it's wrong to do it.
It's just my personal opinion and I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, just how I felt about it. I think it's always OK to say how you feel as long as you are prepared to "own" that feeling rather than attributing your own feelings to other people.
The only reason why I'm not included in OS's comment is because I wasn't chanting!
