Although the forecast is for very little rain tomorrow in Essex, Billericay's ground has been notorious in soaking up the rain. With the amount of rain there has been over the last few days, it's worth keeping an eye out here or various other sources (esp our very good Twitter account) just in case there is a problem.
I have no idea if there is an inspection due/planned/needed by the way!

Played at home Sat so must be a very good chance. I was in that neck of the woods yesterday and it really was very wet - if the game was due on a Sunday, there's no way it would have happened. With the rain we've seen today too and the light winds, I'm certainly not counting my chickens! |

Have been in Chelmsford since Saturday night, we've had rain yesterday in the evening, but none so far today, so keeping my fingers crossed !

According to the NLP report, Billericay's match on sat survived two pitch inspections before being played. I'm not sure if they've had the same level of rain as we have since but are due some tomorrow afternoon apparently.
I do hope they will be sensible about travelling fans for a midweek match & consider an inspection along with the weather forecast at a resaonable time!

I'll be in south Essex anyway as I decided last week to book the day off as leave for some walking, birdwatching and pub visits.  I did realise I was taking a risk with the weather! Assuming the game's on I'll be approaching Billericay from the east and would hope to be in the Blue Boar (Wetherspoons) about ten to seven.  |
