Of course, depending on the severity of the situation, they may "withdraw" from the league. Which means we'll be going to back to Hornchurch next season. Nooooooooooooo!

Wingate and Finchley host Lowestoft tonight. If W&F win, Carshalton will effectively be relegated, unless they can make up a 8 goal difference on Lewes.
Wingate beat Lowestoft 3-2 tonight....it's nearly bye bye Bobbins. Hastings have been relegated, and Bobbins need to win at Enfield and Lewes only need to draw at home to Bury. If Carshalton draw or lose and Hastings win at home to Ks, Carshalton will be relegated and finish bottom. When only 2 go down due to league expansion, that's an impressive feat!

Non League show on twitter has tweeted "I understand according to League rules Farnborough points deduction will be made next season, not this" Latest: (again from Non League show twitter) "If they go into admin today they would lose 10 points now.. But by AGM must pay all creditors in FULL or football creditors in full & have a CVA in place with full agreement to pay all creditors in FULL during next 3 years OR be relegated" As written by rule 14 here www.footballconference.co.uk/rules.php

www.gethampshire.co.uk/sport/farnboroughfc/s/2133127_administration_a_positive_thing_for_farnborough_fcpicking the bones out of this it reads like they have forced themselves into administration the day before their final game of the season to avoid the ten points deduction next year regardless of whether you want to go to Hampshire or Hornchurch next season - and personally I think they should allow another team up rather than the other way round - this chicanery stinks and makes a mockery of the way, for example, Truro have been treated. You could have a situation where a whole bunch of clubs could rack up a bundle of debt each season in the knowledge that if they fail to make the play-offs but are eleven points above the relegation zone they can file for administration the day before their final game and wipe the slate clean - call that fair? Mind you, we know Spencers form and you might be able to change your name by deed poll but you can't change your spots.

Mind you, we know Spencers form and you might be able to change your name by deed poll but you can't change your spots. If that's what he's done, he's even more of an idiot. The rules state: 14.A.2 Where a Club takes or suffers an Insolvency Event: 14.A.2.1 during the Normal Playing Season but prior to 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday in March, the point’s deduction shall apply immediately; 14.A.2.2 during the Normal Playing Season but after 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday In March then Rule 14.A.3 shall apply; and 14.A.2.3 outside the Normal Playing Season, the point’s deduction shall apply in respect of the following Season such that the Club starts that Season on minus 10 points (including a Club or Clubs Relegated from the Football League, where such Club shall be subject to Regulation 12.3 of the Football League Rules & Regulations) or where it has been necessary under the National League System Regulations for a Club or Clubs to be moved from league to another and such Club would have been subject to Rule 14. So after the 4th Thursday in March, which this season was 28th March, the points deduction will apply to next season unless the Conference breaks their own rules Mind you reading this interview with Day back in August 2012, the signs were all there. www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/features/the-big-interview/458/spencer-day-planning-for-a-new-era-at-farnborough/

Right and this really is it from me tonight. The bss web page now shows farnborough with the points deducted in the current league table so looks like matey boy has pulled it off. That's some precedent that's been set and makes mugs of clubs who try to run their affairs properly. Over and out.

Think the Conference will need to explain themselves if that is the case. It goes against their own rule book. After what happened with Truro this season, that wouldn't surprise me.
