Oxford City's chairman has stated that he expects them to be moved from Conference North to Conference South next season.

I think the Farnborough thing is an utter joke the governing bodies should hang their heads in shame for letting it happen.
Despite the fact that my sister lives a few hundred yards from the ground and the away game is a good excuse for a family drink up, I may swerve the game there next season as I dont really want people like this to have any of my hard earned cash.

Ha - my post is redundant now you've edited yours, OS For anyone who did not see my original post, I suggested that AndyK had the home and away sides wrong having forgotton they were over 2 legs. I thought he may have been suffering some form of playoff dyslexia. The penny dropped as I was cleaning out my pond, I rushed in to amend my post but alas it was too late, I had been caught You were very honest about it!

Luckily I was out and missed all of it One club to watch, not in a good way, is Ebbsfleet. Lots of stories coming out of there that they are in financial trouble. Wouldn't be too surprised if they got a points deduction during next season. In addition, an interesting read from the now ex-Board member of MyFootballClub co-op that run Ebbsfleet. It's actually his resignation hampshirered.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/resignation-from-myfootballclub-society.html

Luckily I was out and missed all of it Why do you think I ran in to edit my post Ebbsfleet are saying they simply have a short term cash flow problem, they are taking donations to try and make up a £25k shortfall which I think is owed to the VATman Truro City chairman is saying that CVA may not be possible and if so they club will return in some form in the Western league. If they do manage CVA they will play in the Southern Premier next season. Farnboro, I don't really understand how they managed to get away with the 10pt deduction this season when it was effectively meaningless? One thing that amazes me is how on earth have they managed to get into £2m of debt in just 6yrs. Surely the conference at its AGM have got to be asking the question as to whether Farnboro are being run in a fit and proper way? I do not discount the possibility that we may see Bridge Ave again next season? There are also strong rumours doing the rounds on who we will be signing next season, although I note regular posters on here have declined to move such rumours over from those over forums.

I remember the old days when knowingly piling up a stack of unsustainable debt within a company and then pulling the plug and bailing out leaving the creditors to pick up the pieces used to be called a long firm. It was one of reg and ron's specialities.

Aldershot town have entered administration after failing to pay their players in April. Obviously their nearest senior neighbours are suffering the same fate at the same time.
Maybe they'll be at this leven in 2014/15 as one debt ridden club rather than two!

I will have a bash at the North / South setup for next season: Conference South Ebbsfleet United Whitehawk (Brighton City) Hemel Hempstead Town OR Gosport Borough Oxford City Bishop Stortford (only if Lowestoft win playoff) Concord Rangers (If they win playoff, Stortford stay in north) Conference North Stockport County Barrow AFC Telford United 2 from northern premier Leamington (Oxford City move to South) As above Lowestoft if they win play off puts Stortford in the South.

Still not sure about the Oxford/Stortford thing. Although Oxford are geographically further south, Stortford are closer to more teams and kicked off the stink a couple years back. I think the powers that be will probably go Stort more than Oxford (although I'd rather go to the latter!)

Second leg of the play offs - Salisbury have levelled against Chelmsford but no score so far at Crabble. Still 40min or so to go though.
To add to the comedy, the Salisbury scorer was Stuart Searle (own goal)....once a bobbin, always a bobbin I say

No Slabber in the Chelmo lineup? I hear the goalbwas a clearance against another player which rebounded into the net.
