Don't think I could face losing to Kingstonian even if it is only Surrey Senior Cup. Would very much like to see Hong Moon again, he looked brilliant in pre-season even against very strong opposition

I know I was well chuffed when we lured Micky Preston away from them. K's of course never really recovered when they went all Billy Big Bollox and were spunking huge lumps of dough on company Mercedes and silly wages in the late eighties and early nineties. I heard some shocking tales of excess from that era first hand. Like the last days of Rome. Not sure what will happen to them if the landlords pull off the return to Plough Lane. Anyway. Looking forward to tomorrow. Interesting there was no mention of Corinthian casuals in the recent history of the "rivalry". |

Whilst the 6-0 wasn't great viewing from our end the humiliation was tempered by the fact they were spunking loads of money they didn't have. They were a good side then and we were certainly the overwhelming underdogs at the time. TBH though they have the ground issue now perhaps it was worth it for them to have the memories of Wembley and all that?
