For me it will always be the Bobbins, I still miss the Xmas derbies, to the extent that I would like to see them promoted, just so we can beat them over Xmas and New Year. Second place goes to Tooting, we always used to nick their best players - Dario Gradi, Chris Kelly, Willie Smith, Bobby Green etc - which for some reason seemed to wind up their supporters! Plus we played them regularly, whereas the Bobbins were in the Athenian League and had to manufacture weird cups like the Tom Fuller Trophy, just so they could be beaten by us. K's come under the same banner as clubs like Dulwich Omlette, Surrey clubs we used to turn over quite regularly but of no particular importance. This changed when K's sold Richmond Road and used the money to buy a couple of Trophies. For a few brief years they were in the ascendancy before drifting back into the general pool of nothing clubs we come up against in toytown cups that we shouldn't be wasting time over. Their only chance of becoming any sort of 'rival' is if the nutter at Coldsore succeeds in driving the Bobbins out of business, so he can use the ground for his kids' teams.
Incidentally, the Bobbins beat K's landlords 3-1 in the Surrey Cup in front of 203 tonight. Take away the AFCD fans and neutrals, and that would be about 3, from what I saw.

The board will make an announcement today regarding the decision they have made following Tuesday's game with the K's.May I take this opportunity to apologise to All concerned for my actions on Tuesday evening. I have talked, listened, thought and read the posts regarding the incident that occurred. Now everyone that knows me will know I can laugh at myself as well as taking banter and giving it. So for the record calling someone a fat cow , are you the fitness coach and laughing in your face BANTER I find not acceptable in todays society, please correct me if im wrong in any walk of life if say this to someone you have got to fear a backlash and that was what this was. The fuse was definitely lit. Thanks for your support during my time at your club all the best Shawie.:-(((((

I hope whatever the Board do, they take into account the degree of provocation. In 40 years of watching the U's, I've only seen or heard of Sutton players getting involved with opposition supporters twice, both times in the last few years and both times, surprise surprise, with this scum from Kingston. They come to be deliberately provocative and their show of mock outrage after the event is pathetic.
Whatever happens, Wayne, you have the full support of this Sutton fan.

Thanks for your hard work during your time here. A sad way to end it and a real shame that you reacted.

It can't have been easy for Wayne to post that on here.
I didn't witness the incident on Tuesday so I'll only comment in general terms. If you provoke anyone enough then you'll get a reaction. That doesn't make the reaction right, but it also makes the provocation wrong.

Going on past form with K's fans, seeing them for many years and how aggressive they can be, you can bet your bottom dollar that the tone of the "banter" was far from friendly. And you can double that bet that K's fans will still slag off Sutton and their actions. It's rivalry isn't it? As Sarah said, that's fine if you are 10. Thanks Wayne for your efforts here. I won't forget the blinder you played at Welling in the play-off!

If someone called you that in a pub or on the street you'd get your block knocked off so I can fully understand the reaction. I'm sure an awful lot of people would have done the same thing in fairness! Not that it makes it right I guess.
Echoing the thanks for everything Wayne. Top 'keeper!

I would like to wish Wayne all the best and give him my full support for the incident on Tuesday. I believe that bullying is wrong and to stand up to it is totally justified.
Wayne you are a top bloke, good luck!

I want to echo what has been said Wayne. I am disgusted that a bunch of morons have effectively driven you out of the club. Don't ever forget the respect and affection you are held in by the sutton fans. Wish you well for the future mate

Thanks for all your efforts Wayne and all the best for the future. Nobody should put up with that crap. I used to get it from supporters when I refereed. It's not nice.
